Contributes to the overall success of the ABM and CRU Distribution Strategy in Canada, ensuring specific individual goals, plans, and initiatives are delivered in support of the team’s business objectives.  Ensures all activities conducted are in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures.


The incumbent will be responsible for the following initiatives:
•    Recommending solutions for our branch network including the implementation of branch ABM, CRU and other self-service banking functionality

•    Implementing system, software and hardware synergies between different delivery channels and leveraging these synergies to further the development of the ABM Channel

•    Ensuring our ABM network remains competitive

•    Managing the implementation and operation of associated products through external departments, third party suppliers and strategic partners

•    Contributing to revenue generation and cost reduction by supporting the following:
•    New product implementation in the ABM Channel;
•    ABM and CRU system enhancements
•    ABM and CRU network optimization

•    Utilizing project management discipline to deliver business objectives

•    Completing business case and updating forecasts

•    Liaising with hardware and software vendors, internal and external development groups, and clients to deliver on Channel initiatives 

•    Champions a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge.

•    Understand how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.

•    Actively pursues effective and efficient operations of his/her respective areas, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational risk, regulatory compliance risk, AML/ATF risk and conduct risk, including but not limited to responsibilities under the Operational Risk Management Framework, Regulatory Compliance Risk Management Framework, AML/ATF Global Handbook and the Guidelines for Business Conduct.

Education And Other Requirements 

•    Bachelor degree required, preferably with a focus in business
•    Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of banking operations and processes
•    Thorough knowledge of the Canadian banking financial services marketplace, customer segments, and the Bank’s relative competitive position within those market areas
•    Strong analytics capability with proven experience in leveraging data insights
•    Collaborates and builds strong working relationships with internal partners including real estate
•    Strong communication skills and ability to communicate complex information to various audiences
•    Demonstrated interpersonal skills in working with a variety of people and ability to influence/negotiate and to work independently or with a larger team
•    Ability to structure and scope problems, apply a range of analytical tools, gain and synthesize insights, and develop solutions
•    Ability to support project governance to move them forward
•    Strong communication skills when dealing with key internal stakeholders
