Purpose of Job:

The Learning Experience Designer will be responsible for designing and developing innovative learning
solutions, with a focus on digital learning and human centred design approaches. The learning solutions you will design will target different types of learners and include modalities such as videos, blogs, infographics, and other elearning content. You will support the team's efforts to assess learning needs, evaluate learning outcomes and ensure that learning is aligned with the banks strategic goals.


Key Job Accountabilities:

  • Design and develop learning materials/tools, in primarily digital formats, such as webinars, video, and
  • eLearning, from ideation (scripting) to evaluation
  • Write clear, user-friendly training material (video scripts, Job Aids, Guides and PowerPoint Presentations)
  • Conduct stakeholder, subject matter expert, and learner interviews and documentation reviews
  • Develop digital learning solutions which are engaging and creative, while still maintaining the instructional integrity and validity of the solution
  • Maintain results and customer focus at all times, collaborating with team members and Manager to ensure outcomes are on track to meet business needs.


Skills, Experiences and Functional Competencies:

  • Proven experience delivering effective and innovative digital learning/training according to templates, publishing standards, and technical specifications
  • Experience delivering train-the-trainer sessions
  • Strong project management skills and attention to deadlines
  • Must be able to work under constant deadline pressure and manage multiple deliverables withina complex project environment lines of business.
  • Excellent oral and written communication, editing and proofreading skills  
  • Fluency with digital learning development tools (e.g., Captivate, Lectora, Photoshop) 


Education and Other Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Certificate in Adult Education
  • At least 2 years of Digital Content Creation or Instructional Design and Development
