As a Lead Pega Developer, your primary responsibilities will include Develop all required changes by business and Tech team, participate actively in multiple required meetings to decide and define the changes that impacts the behavior of a Pega application. Contribute with your knowledge in upgrades and migrations of the assigned Pega application.
Your role will involve collaboration with both business and tech teams, with focus on releasing changes with quality and on time.
Your goal will be to ensure the completeness and suitability of solutions to achieve set objectives. This will involve identifying any gaps, addressing technical details and challenges, and managing the integration and development flow to support successful delivery.
Is this role right for you? In this role, you will:
• Design and develop Pega solutions to meet business requirements.
• Maintain and enhance existing Pega workflows to ensure data integrity and performance.
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to gather requirements and translate them into data solutions.
• Monitor and troubleshoot Pega processes to identify and resolve issues promptly.
• Ensure data accuracy and consistency across various data sources and targets.
• Document Pega processes, designs, and architectures.
• Continuously improving Pega processes by incorporating best practices and feedback.
• Champions a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems, and knowledge.
• Understand how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.
• Actively pursues effective and efficient operations of his/her respective areas in accordance with Scotiabank’s Values, its Code of Conduct and the Global Sales Principles, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational, compliance, sanctions and conduct risk.

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? We'd love to work with you if you have:
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Pega Developer with 10+ years of experience using Pega.
• Certified SSA.
• Strong understanding of data integration, data warehousing.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and analytical skills.
• Experience in Azure implementation on cloud is a plus
• Experience with Pega infinity is a must.
