We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Lead Developer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will work across multiple applications and projects, contributing to the design, development, and optimization of scalable, high-performance systems. You will play a key role in delivering robust backend solutions and driving technical excellence across the team.

Is this role right for you? In this role you will:

• Lead the design, development, and maintenance of backend services, APIs and data transformation across multiple applications and projects.
• Develop and optimize scalable solutions using Java, Spring Boot, and RESTful APIs.
• Write efficient shell scripts to support automation and system integration tasks.

• Design, develop and optimize ETL processes to transform and integrate data across multiple systems.

• Design and manage database schemas, write complex SQL queries, and handle large volumes of data effectively.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across the stack, ensuring system reliability and performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, QA, DevOps, and other developers to deliver high-quality software.
• Contribute to code reviews, architectural discussions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation for developed components and systems.

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? We’d love to work with you if you have:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 7+ years of professional experience in software development, with a strong focus on backend systems.
• Expertise in Java programming and hands-on experience with Spring Boot.
• Proven experience in REST API design and development, familiarity with SOAP web services is preferred.
• Proficiency in shell scripting and working with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle).
• Experience handling large data volumes and optimizing data processing workflows.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Strong understanding of infrastructure, network fundamentals, and system architecture

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Familiarity with containerization (e.g., Docker) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Exposure to Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
