The Team:

The Securities Operations Technology team is leading the way in developing modern systems to support our Global Capital Markets businesses worldwide. We are looking for creative, self-starting, results-oriented, highly motivated individual with attention to details and excellent problem-solving skills. In this role, you will need to multi-task and work in a fast paced and agile environment


The Role:

In this role, Lead developer will be responsible for

  • Development and support of applications to support the Post trade operations and Settlement.
  • Conduct proof of concept on new technologies or solutions around Microservices.
  • Participate in design discussions on scalability, performance, security, Microservices best practices.
  • Delegate work and assignments to team members
  • Guide team members through technical issues and challenges


Is this role right for you?


You have

  • 5-6 years of hands on development experience in Core Java and related technologies in an Agile development environment
  • Strong understanding of core and server side Java programming.
  • Good understanding of design patterns and Object Orient Design concepts.
  • Strong understanding of SQL programing preferably with Oracle experience.
  • Experience in utilizing Source Control & Build Tools, like BitBucket, Jenkins etc.
  • Experience in integration patterns using messaging technologies like JMS, MQ etc.
  • Ability to develop all layers of the application (Front end, middle tier, backend)
  • Unix experience
  • Experience with REST, Microservices Architecture, Kafka
  • Basic knowledge of capital markets, SWIFT, Trade settlement Lifecycles
  • Understanding of cloud-based deployment
