Title: Lead Decisioning Architect (Pega CDH)

Large-scale enterprise-wide project to accelerate personalization capabilities across our stack (targeted propensity-driven lists, marketing journey and sales conversion funnels). This role will be sitting within the Engineering function of the Pega CDH MarTech Application team helping identify business needs and translating them into revenue-driving decisioning implementations within Pega CDH.
In this role you will:
- Architect and oversee the implementation of scalable, real-time decisioning and arbitration frameworks using Pega CDH.
- Lead the design of journeys, NBA strategies, engagement policies, and AI-driven treatments across digital and assisted channels.
- Collaborate with analytics, marketing and data science, to align decisioning logic with GTM strategies and campaign objectives.
- Govern the use of adaptive models, predictive analytics, and customer segmentation to drive personalization at scale.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and ethical AI standards in all decisioning logic.
- Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technical delivery teams for all things related to decisioning.
- Drive continuous improvement through performance tuning, A/B testing, and model optimization.
- Maintains system protocols by writing and updating procedures.
- You will be directing day-to-day activities in a manner consistent with our risk culture and the relevant risk appetite statement and limits and communicate it throughout the team
- You will create an environment in which your team pursues effective and efficient operations of their respective areas while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to risk and compliance
Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role?
- 8+ years of experience in marketing/GTM journey and arbitration decisioning systems, with at least 5 years in a lead role extensively using Pega CDH.
- Deep expertise in Journey Designer, Next-Best-Action Designer, Engagement Policies, Adaptive Models, and Prediction Studio.
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required.
- Proven experience in designing and deploying real-time decisioning solutions in a B2C financial services environment.
- Strong understanding of customer lifecycle marketing, campaign orchestration, and omnichannel personalization.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams including marketing, data science, compliance, and IT.
- Pega certifications such as CPDC (Certified Pega Decisioning Consultant) or LSA are highly preferred.
- Familiarity with data privacy regulations (e.g., PIPEDA, GDPR) and ethical AI practices.
- Experience with Adobe’s MarTech offering including AJO, Adobe RT-CDP, and Salesforce Marketing Cloud (nice to have)
