As an International Oversight Analyst, you will be responsible for the fund administration oversight of third-party vendors for the operations of Caribbean and Latin American domiciled investment funds, including but not limited to, net asset value (NAV) oversight, dealer and transfer agency support and oversight, trade settlement oversight, preparing reports and KPIs, dashboard construction and delivery, regulatory reporting, fund budgeting and expense review.
This is a 6 month contract position.
Is this role right for you? In this role you will:
- Provide daily net asset value oversight, including issue resolution
- Provide fund oversight, including support functions such as fund accounting, trade reconciliations, custody services and fund administration life cycle support
- Support the quarterly financial statement process and annual funds audits
- Provide regulatory reporting oversight for monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and annual reporting to local regulators
- Review fund expenses, fund budgets, MERs and absorption calculations
- Provide dealer and transfer agency support and oversight, including project management initiatives such as new products, fund terminations, system enhancements and ongoing process improvement initiatives
- Liaise with other departments on various issues that arise, questions, and requests for information
- Lead special projects/analyses on an ad hoc basis as assigned by the Senior Manager
Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? – We’d love to work with you if you have:
- A University degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or another related field
- 2-5 years of experience in a back office / administration capacity
- CPA/CFA designation or active candidacy is an asset
- Knowledge of fund administration, international investment funds, or asset management experience
- Familiarity of legal, regulatory, political or tax environments in Caribbean or Latin American countries is an asset
- Knowledge of investment management services and systems such as Charles River, State Street, iFast, FundServ, SimCorp and Bloomberg is an asset
- High motivation, are independent, innovative, and results-oriented
- A focus on attention to detail and the ability to adhere to time-sensitive deadlines
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- High proficiency with Microsoft Office, such as Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
- Bilingual in Spanish and English is an asset
