The Team 

Scotiabank’s Global Identity and Access Management (GIAM) is looking to fill the position of IAM QAT Lead. 

 

The role: 

Reporting to the Manager of the UAT team, this position will help to ensure all applications managed within GIAM are successfully tested and deployed. You will also work with other teams (within GIAM as well with other teams within Scotiabank) to help implement, monitor, and maintain standards, policies, plans, processes, procedures, and other activities as may be required to meet the banks regulatory requirement. 

 

Is this role right for you? 

• Help design and build efficient and reusable test cases test scenarios for functional and regression testing, using manual as well as automated test suites. 

• Support and enhance existing automated testing framework, and leveraging QA software products and tools for requirements, test case and defect management. 

• You enjoy taking part in initiatives to contribute to the strategic direction for security related technologies or other controls that need to be put in place to reduce the threat levels to the bank. 

• You thrive in effectively breaking down complex technology knowledge & communicating the same to non-technical people. 

• Strong knowledge of SDLC and STLC and their implementation methodologies. 

• Strong working knowledge of Sailpoint IdentityIQ application and its functionalities, Identity Life Cycle, Access Request, Certification, Application onboarding, setting up and configuration of connectors, etc. 

• Working knowledge of a PAM application (Centrify PAS, CyberArk or similar), Identity Federation, Service Now, VPN, MFA 

• Knowledge of an application for Unstructured Data Governance (Sailpoint FAM or similar) would be an asset. 

• Knowledge of Active Directory Organizational Units, Groups and User Attributes 

 

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? 

• You possess advanced communication (verbal/written/presentation) skills in English. Same in Spanish will be an asset. 

• You have at least 3 years of hands-on technical working experience in the following: Sailpoint IIQ, PAM, Automated testing framework (UFT/Selenium). 

• You have developed capabilities in prioritizing and completing assigned tasks in a timely manner and provide oversight and training to other team members. 

• You have strong analytical and problem resolution skills. 

• Post-secondary education in Computer Science or in a related field. 

• Certifications (CISSP or similar) is nice to have.
