The Head of Advisor Experience, Global Wealth Management (GWM) is a strategic leadership role responsible for driving the successful delivery of solutions that support the Bank’s strategic objectives within Global Wealth & Asset Management. This role leads high-performing Product teams that collaborate with cross-functional development groups and business stakeholders to define, design, and implement forward-thinking business strategies, product roadmaps, and service offerings that enhance both the Advisor and Client Experience.
This leader will play a pivotal role in modernizing the Advisor experience ecosystem, with a strong focus on delivering scalable, resilient, and client-centric solutions, partnered with our Technology teams. The role requires a blend of visionary leadership, operational excellence, and technical acumen to ensure the successful execution of the strategic roadmap and transformation agenda.
Is this role right for you? In this role you will:
- Own and drive the Advisor Experience strategy and roadmap, ensuring alignment with the Global Wealth and Asset Management business strategy
- Collaborate with leaders across Technology and Global Wealth Management to ensure the design and deployment of the Advisor Experience strategy creates efficiencies and allows Advisors to focus on areas of business growth and revenue generation
- Lead teams to deliver end-to-end solutions across Global Wealth Management Operations that will enhance our operating model to scale for growth while reducing operating costs
- Champion a customer-first culture across teams, embedding client-centered design principles and fostering deep collaboration with business stakeholders and leveraging broader bank relationships, systems and processes to deliver differentiated experiences. Accounting for competitive market insights and experience to drive best in class solutions
- Build and sustain a high-performance, inclusive team culture & attract, develop and retain top talent through coaching, mentorship and succession planning, fostering a growth mindset and communicate vision/values/business strategy
- As a transformation leader, align technology and business strategies while driving cultural change across cross functional teams to support agile ways of working and continuous improvement
- Direct day-to-day activities in a manner consistent with the Bank’s risk culture and the relevant risk appetite statement and limits & communicate the Bank’s risk culture and risk appetite statement throughout their teams
- Create an environment in which the team pursues effective and efficient operations of their respective areas, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational risk, regulatory compliance risk, AML/ATF risk and conduct risk, including but not limited to responsibilities under the Operational Risk Management Framework, Regulatory Compliance Risk Management Framework, AML/ATF Global Handbook and the Guidelines for Business Conduct
Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? – We’d love to work with you if you have:
- A University degree in Commerce, Finance or related sector
- 10+ years of experience in the financial sector, Asset Management and Wealth Management experience is an asset
- 10+ years of experience in leading and delivering major strategic initiatives related to Advisor Experience (e.g. Salesforce, Conquest, Charles River)
- Exceptional communication skills to convert strategy into actionable deliverables
- A strong understanding of Advisor workflows, CRM, portfolio management systems and client engagement tools
- Experience in leading and coaching cross-functional teams, with track record of attracting and developing talent
- Critical thinking skills, using logic and reasoning to evaluate alternative solutions, recommendations, and summarize conclusions and approaches to mitigate risks
- A demonstrated ability to achieve strategic goals
- The ability to develop strong working relationships with business and technology partners
- An understanding of the regulatory environment and parameters impacting the design and delivery of products and services within the Wealth & Asset Management industry
