Purpose
As Head, International Digital Wealth and Transformation, you will lead strategy, planning, governance and value realization for International Wealth Management.
In this role, as a senior IWM business leader you are accountable for strategic leadership with hands on execution of driving seamless client and advisor experiences powered by digital and AI capabilities. In this role, you will drive portfolio planning an governance while collaborating with senior executives and wealth leaders across the globe. Your creativity leadership and decisions will drive growth, deepen relationships, and create client primacy for international wealth.
The role owns the end-to-end client and advisor experience across affluent and wealth segments, ensuring solutions are commercially viable, operationally executable, and scalable across IWM’s multi‑market footprint.
The role will support IWM across 10+ markets including Latin America, the Caribbean, and Asia Pacific, with business lines that span Private Banking, Onshore and Offshore Trust, Brokerage, and Asset Management.
This high-impact role requires an experienced leader with proven expertise in experience design, transformation strategy, field enablement and transformational leadership.
Key Accountabilities
1) Articulate and execute IWM client segment vision for digital capabilities (Affluent → UHNW)
- Own the business vision and outcomes for IWM client and advisor solutions, including Wealth+, client portal/mobile experiences, and hybrid servicing models (self‑serve, hybrid, advisor‑led).
- Translate wealth client behaviors, segment economics, and advisor needs into differentiated experiences across onboarding, servicing, and advice journeys.
Ensure solutions measurably improve acquisition, primacy, TRB, advice penetration, retention, and advisor productivity through clear KPI ownership and adoption discipline. - Act as the business voice of IWM in enterprise platform decisions — representing wealth needs , client and advisor preferences rooted from Voice of Advisor surveys.
- Lead the omni-channel experience strategy, leveraging voice-of-client and experience analytics, to ensure a seamless and personalized client experience, with consistent digital brand experience and regulatory compliance.
2) Strategic Initiatives & Business Planning (IWM Lens)
- Lead priority IWM growth and transformation initiatives from concept to scale with clear investment logic, sequencing, and benefits realization.
- Oversee IWM strategic business programs and lead IWM SIP planning; represent IWM at governance forums (e.g., VRC and transformation committees) aligned to IWM priorities.
- Partner with business line and market leaders and frontline stakeholders to localize execution while maintaining global coherence, avoiding fragmentation across markets.
- Serve as a thought partner to IWM leadership on where to invest, scale, stop, or pivot—based on measurable commercial and client outcomes.
3) Data as a Business Asset
- Own business-led data products that support client segmentation, performance management, advisor effectiveness, and executive decision-making.
- Ensure data is trusted, actionable, and embedded into how IWM leaders and advisors run the business (dashboards, insights, management routines).
- Oversee IWM needs for the strong data foundation and collaborate with leaders to build analytics and business intelligence layer including digital product access with a direct line of sight to growth outcomes and improved client/advisor experience.
- Through leadership of the Senior Manager, IWM Data Product Owner, ensure data priorities are driven by wealth use cases (not data availability) and are scalable across markets.
4) Applied AI for Wealth Growth
- Through leadership of the Director, AI Solutions – IWM, deliver applied AI use cases aligned to wealth priorities (e.g., personalization, next-best action, advisor productivity, service automation, and operational leverage).
- Govern AI solutions with a commercial and client‑first mindset, ensuring explainability, regulatory alignment, and scalable value realization.
- Clearly differentiate applied AI that drives outcomes from experimentation—prioritizing repeatable, safe patterns that can scale across IWM markets.
5) Collaborate with Executives : Act as a trusted advisor to all senior market and business executives to help them drive value from digital capabilities, seamless advisor and client experiences enabled through strong data foundation and AI personalization.
Enterprise Partnerships & Influence
Build strong cross-functional relationships with Global Wealth Management, International Banking, Technology, Operations, Marketing, Compliance.
Represent IWM in enterprise working groups to advocate for integrated solutions that drive advisor and client primacy; influence beyond direct lines of control through clear communication, collaboration, and strategic positioning.
Core / Foundational
Maintain deep understanding of wealth management business models, client behavior, and advisor needs.
Continually enhance knowledge of regulatory environments, risk frameworks, product offerings, and operational workflows across IWM markets.
Ensure effective business controls and compliance with respect to operational, conduct, AML/ATF, and regulatory risk.
Experience / Profile
- 10+ years of leadership experience in Wealth Management distribution and/or market-facing wealth roles; proven ability to lead through complexity and influence across markets and business lines.
- Innovation Mindset : passion for digital experiences, future trends and emerging technologies in wealth industry.
- Proven track record delivering large-scale client/advisor experiences and driving sustained adoption and performance uplift.
- Strong commercial acumen with demonstrated ability to translate strategy into measurable outcomes and executable roadmaps
- University degree in Business (MBA and/or CFA preferred); minimum 5 years professional experience in wealth management (minimum threshold), with demonstrated progression in leadership scope.
- Proven ability to convert strategy into executable roadmaps and measurable outcomes; exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Executive-level influencing skills in complex, matrix environments; ability to align stakeholders and drive decisions without direct authority.
- Track record delivering complex, cross-functional initiatives (platform, experience, data/analytics, and change enablement) with sustained adoption and performance impact.
- Strong business judgment and critical thinking: uses logic and reasoning to evaluate options, synthesize insights, and recommend approaches that manage risk and deliver results.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and develop high-performing teams; success influencing across cultures and geographies.
- Strong understanding of regulatory environments and constraints impacting products, advice, and digital servicing across wealth markets.
- High resilience and persistence; comfortable operating with ambiguity and driving outcomes through complexity.
Working Conditions - Work in a standard office-based environment; non-standard hours are a common occurrence. Limited travel at IWM footprint.
