Purpose

 

The Group Creative Director provides strategic leadership and oversight for all creative outputs within Lighthouse, ensuring work is on brand, strategically sound, and innovative across all touchpoints and geographies. This role sets the creative vision, drives excellence in concept development and execution, and fosters collaboration across teams to deliver impactful, business-aligned creative solutions. The Group Creative Director champions global brand consistency by working closely with the Creative Director, Brand & Design and Creative Director, IB, and partners with our Agency of Record (Rethink) to ensure creative excellence and alignment across all initiatives.

This position holds accountability for the following:

 

  • Creative Vision & Strategy: Define and articulate Lighthouse’s creative vision, ensuring alignment with enterprise priorities and global brand standards.
  • Global Brand Consistency: Collaborate with the Global Creative Head to maintain brand integrity and elevate creative standards across all markets.
  • Agency Partnership: Partner with our Agency of Record (Rethink) to deliver integrated, innovative creative solutions that meet strategic objectives.
  • Creative Excellence: Oversee creative strategy and execution across all disciplines—design, copy, motion, and experiential—ensuring outputs are innovative, strategically sound, and culturally relevant.
  • Innovation & Transformation: Drive adoption of emerging technologies, including AI-enabled tools, automation, and agile methodologies, to future-proof creative capabilities.
  • Governance & Standards: Establish and maintain creative guidelines, best practices, and accessibility standards to ensure compliance and quality.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a senior advisor to marketing leadership, providing thought leadership and influencing creative direction at the enterprise level.
  • Culture & Talent Development: Build and mentor a high-performance, inclusive creative team; foster collaboration, adaptability, and continuous improvement.
  • Operational Partnership: Work closely with operational leads to ensure efficient workflows, resource allocation, and quality assurance across creative delivery.
  • Financial Accountability: Manage creative budgets and identify opportunities for cost optimization without compromising quality.

    • Actively pursues effective and efficient operations of his/her respective areas, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational risk, regulatory compliance risk, AML/ATF risk and conduct risk, including but not limited to responsibilities under the Operational Risk Management Framework, Regulatory Compliance Risk Management Framework, AML/ATF Global Handbook and the Guidelines for Business Conduct.
    • Implements a people strategy that attracts, retains, develops, and motivates talent; uses a coaching mindset; manages succession and development planning.

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? We’d love to work with you if you have:

 

  • 12+ years of experience in creative leadership roles within integrated marketing or agency environments.
  • Proven track record of delivering innovative, strategically aligned creative work across multiple channels and markets.
  • Strong understanding of global brand systems, cultural nuances, and localization strategies.
  • Experience with agile workflows, AI tools, and emerging technologies in creative production.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills; ability to influence at senior levels.
  • Portfolio demonstrating creative excellence and strategic thinking across diverse platforms.

 

Working Conditions

  • Standard office environment; occasional non-standard hours to meet project deadlines. Remote flexibility as required.
