Is this role right for you? In this role, you will:

 

  • Completing various complex reconciliations / adjustments
  • Participate in physical securities count 
  • Monitoring outstanding reconciling adjustments
  • Champions a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge
  • Understand how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.
  • Actively pursues effective and efficient operations of his/her respective areas, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational, compliance, AML/ATF/sanctions and conduct risk
  • Understanding departmental and client needs while collaborating with our business partners to focus on building strong relationships and encourage positive experiences.
  • Preparation / completion of the Regulatory / Internal reporting including audit related activities and participating in mid/year end activities (i.e. physical security counts)

  • You are currently enrolled in post-secondary education.
  • You love to learn and envision yourself working for an international organization that heavily invests in your future.
  • You enjoy being involved in extracurricular activities such as conferences, clubs, and competitions and/or hackathons.
  • Problem solving and communication skills (both oral and written).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 
  • Overall knowledge of securities, accounting and finance, with some back-office experience 
  • Organized, able to multi-task, work well under pressure, and handle multiple projects/initiatives all within tight deadlines and minimum supervision 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
