Overview:

Responsible for the creation, development and deployment of multi-channel audience segments across both internal and biddable media platforms. In addition to audience management, the incumbent will assist in the day to day performance management of all programmatic media campaigns.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Support in the management of the data management platform vendor relationship.
  • Manage the creation of 1st and 3rd party data segments within DMP and native ad platforms.
  • Work in partnership with data architects to locate 1st party CRM data sources and develop data extraction techniques and scheduling.
  • Run scheduled and ad hoc audience composition reporting to identify trends and insights on existing database of consumers and prospects.
  • Monitor audience composition reporting for all active digital media campaigns.
  • Communicate DMP capabilities and key insights to the business ensuring all core groups have a clear understanding of how the technology operates.
  • Work closely with the site operations team ensuring they have access to fresh customer and non-customer data for on-site personalization enablement.
  • Collaborate with data engineers on improving access to CRM data as well as the overall automation of data.
  • Manage the upload of CRM segments to DMP and native ad platforms.
  • Access, assess and recommend 3rd party data sources through data partner marketplaces.
  • Manage the setup of 3rd party data syndication pipelines.
  • Liaise with marketing, brand and the various business lines to ensure there is channel alignment.
  • Analyze native ad platform and clickstream analytics to identify performance trends and actionable opportunities (targeting, optimization, creative rotation etc.)
  • Assist campaign managers in the strategic planning, execution and ongoing optimization of biddable media campaigns (programmatic, paid social etc.)
  • Stay on top of industry trends and platform/provider updates while evaluating opportunities for innovation and learning.
  • Provide weekly performance results and insights to the greater marketing and business groups.

 

Requirements

  • A College or University degree in a related field.
  • 2-3 years of experience coordinating projects, developing project plans and completing projects on time and on budget.
  • Superior time management skills, multitasking skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks with minimal supervision are essential.
  • Ability to work independently is imperative.
  • Strong command of Microsoft Office applications. Experience with graphic design programs and Salesforce would be an asset.
  • Ability to develop and maintain strong internal and external relationships
  • Strong native platform experience with Data Management Platforms, Facebook Power Editor and demand side platforms
  • Working understanding of ad trafficking through DoubleClick Campaign Manager (DCM) 
  • Data driven mindset with advanced experience using Google Analytics and/or Adobe Analytics
  • Advanced understanding of Facebook bidding, targeting, and optimization
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Team player and capable of thinking outside the box.
  • Detail oriented and able to accurately proofread marketing materials.
  • Gathers and analyzes information skillfully.
  • Ability to make sound, timely, and accurate judgment while supporting reasoning for decisions.
  • Excellent writing skills including proper spelling, grammar, and punctuation.
  • Professional, responsive, and a positive work attitude.
  • Resourceful, flexible, and well organized.
  • Able to maintain filing systems and basic databases.
  • Strong verbal skills and the ability to communicate professionally.
