Director – Solution Delivery, Wealth Management

 

The Director, Solution Delivery – Wealth Management is responsible for leading and delivering complex technology solutions that enable business strategy, product roadmaps, and service innovation across the Wealth and Asset Management domain. This role combines hands-on technical leadership with strategic oversight, working closely with business stakeholders, architecture, and cross-functional engineering teams to deliver secure, scalable, and reliable platforms.

This is a senior leadership role requiring deep experience in financial services, strong delivery execution, and a forward-looking mindset toward emerging technologies and industry trends.

  • Drive the transformation and modernization of Wealth Management platforms by leveraging modern technologies, tools, and architectural patterns aligned to business priorities.
  • Lead the design, architecture, and delivery of high-quality, enterprise-scale solutions that address complex business challenges.
  • Embed modern engineering practices—including DevOps, automation, and CI/CD—to improve production support, reduce operational risk and cost, and enhance system security, availability, and resiliency.
  • Ensure solutions meet integrity, quality, performance, and reliability standards through automated testing, regression frameworks, and continuous improvement practices.
  • Lead and develop high-performing teams of data engineers and full-stack developers by setting clear expectations, providing technical guidance, coaching, and performance management.
  • Recruit, retain, and grow top engineering talent while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning.
  • Champion a customer-focused, inclusive, and high-performance culture aligned with organizational values.
  • Partner closely with business and technology leadership, effectively communicating complex concepts, influencing outcomes, and building consensus at all levels, including senior executives.
  • Own end-to-end service delivery, including incident management and escalations, vendor and contract management, infrastructure oversight, service resiliency, and overall service ownership.
  • Collaborate across Wealth Technology and business functions to ensure solutions consistently meet evolving business needs.
  • Lead delivery across a diverse portfolio of initiatives, ranging from large, multi-year programs to smaller, targeted enhancements.

  • 10+ years of progressive software development experience, with at least 3+ years leading and building high-performing engineering teams.
  • Proven experience delivering large-scale, multi-year programs in complex enterprise environments.
  • Strong leadership experience in Agile delivery environments, with the ability to drive execution under tight timelines.
  • Deep hands-on experience with Java-based technologies (e.g., Spring) and modern software engineering principles, including SOLID design.
  • Significant experience working across multiple programming languages and technology stacks, with an emphasis on low-latency, scalable, fault-tolerant, 24x7 platforms.
  • Practical knowledge of DevOps and open-source tooling such as Git/Bitbucket, Jenkins, Artifactory, Gradle, and Docker.
  • Strong technical acumen with the ability to quickly build deep understanding of systems, operating models, and team deliverables.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate business needs into clear technical requirements.
  • Solid understanding of Wealth Management concepts, workflows, and industry practices.
  • A continuous improvement mindset, leading by example through strong ownership and accountability.
