Title:  Director of Enterprise Digital Marketing Operations

As the Director, Enterprise Digital Marketing Operations you will be responsible for leading, shaping and executing the development of our enterprise digital marketing strategy, with a focus on leveraging technology to connect the bank’s marketing ecosystem across all digital channels to enable a unified, holistic customer experience.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, business owners and key stakeholders to clarify business objectives, define strategies for operational efficiency, ensure delivery excellence and meet revenue and business goals across digital touchpoints, including web, apps, social and secure online experiences.

Is this role right for you?

  • You will help to define and deliver on Scotiabank’s digital marketing strategy - including business planning and critical success factors - for content strategy, promotional campaigns, website and mobile app integration, web analytics and project lifecycle management.
  • You’ll serve as a liaison and primary point of contact within the Enterprise Digital Marketing organization for cross-functional partners to evaluate, prioritize, scope, develop, manage, implement, test and measure digital marketing initiatives
  • You’ll be collaborating with counterparts in Latin America for consistent digital marketing global approach
  • You’ll assist in creating, executing, and continually refining a product marketing strategy that encompasses the use of market and customer intelligence, lead generation, and nurturing programs to drive product awareness and revenue
  • You’ll contribute to the creation of new sales and marketing initiatives to increase Enterprise Digital Marketing sales and profitability
  • You’ll need to ensure consistent digital user experience, including site navigation, key calls-to-action, product content and promotional campaigns
  • You’ll develop and oversee the effective planning, QA and execution of content across the websites and online marketing campaigns to ensure efficiency, accuracy , nd timeliness of all web content publishing
  • You’ll build and coach a cohesive team of marketing and technology professionals to effectively develop Enterprise Digital Marketing solutions
  • You’ll need to apply advanced analytical skills to interpret disparate sources of data, identify trends and patterns, and craft test-and-learn strategies to validate hypotheses
  • You’ll be working closely with business lines, channels, product management, strategy, and IT teams to define and meet technological, operational and organizational challenges
  • You’ll identify, prioritize, and articulate highest impact initiatives and help to develop  viable project plans and roadmaps

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed?

  • You have 8 or more years of experience in eCommerce, digital marketing and/or digital customer experience for major brands
  • You’re a natural born leader who loves to grow, nurture and mentor teams
  • You not only get data but understand the importance of and apply analytics to evaluate current-state business performance, as well as inform future-state digital banking innovation
  • You have proven success leading large enterprise digital marketing projects
  • You’ve worked on B2C or B2B marketing and acquisition strategies, including lead generation and customer journey modeling
  • You’re familiar with the Adobe marketing and CMS tech stack or similar marketing and/or eCommerce technology tools
  • You have strong business judgment and decision-making skills with the ability to identify, prioritize, and articulate highest impact initiatives
  • You thrive in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to pivot when necessary and maintain a positive attitude
