The Director & Global Head of HR Analytics and Data Office leads and oversees a team comprised of the global data office; analytics and insights; advanced analytics capabilities; reporting and visualization; and AI. This role is the primary contact for all matters related to Global Human Resources data and is the champion for advancing analytics capabilities, technologies, human capital insights and a culture of data literacy.
As the Global Human Resources Data leader, this position oversees the data office and manages the design, development and implementation of data strategies; data standards; data products; data procedures; data governance; and data security all in alignment with the Bank’s data governance framework. This role is also accountable for developing and driving our advanced people analytics capabilities and to create data and analytics assets while advancing our behavioral science reach.
A key aspect of this role is to provide the experience and thought leadership to evolve our data strategy roadmap to achieve a consolidated and consistent global view of data across multiple systems and geographies. They will provide oversight and support for applied employee research, data mining, advanced analytics, and the development of predictive models to further our understanding of the workforce and improve employee experience.
This position is responsible for the production of all monthly, quarterly, annual, and ad-hoc human capital reporting requests and ensures the accuracy, comprehensiveness and timeliness of the data provided. Driving continuous improvement of self-serve and visualization capabilities is paramount in order to optimize user experience and adoption. They will also provide subject matter expertise and point of view on how to advance our technology capabilities such as AI, machine learning, large language models, and cloud-based tools.
Is this role right for you? In this role, you will:
- Lead the transformation of Global HR’s data, analytics, reporting and visualization capabilities to improve data-driven decision making and accelerate insights at scale to help each line of business optimize human capital.
- Drive applied employee research, data mining, analytical/statistical methodology, behavioral science and the development of predictive models to further our understanding of the workforce and enhance employee experience.
- Lead advanced analytics to drive actionable insights to propel human capital decision making and build behavioral science capabilities to enhance employee understanding and awareness.
- Partner closely with IT to develop data engineering pipelines, advance technology capabilities (i.e., software, infrastructure and data pipelines) to better leverage AI, machine learning and cloud-based tools.
- Develop a programmatic approach to increase data literacy and adoption across Global Human Resources in order to enhance advice capabilities and to deliver impactful human capital insights for each line of business.
- Manage the design, development and implementation of data strategies, data standards, data procedures, data governance and data security to support Global Human Resources and ensure alignment with the Bank’s Data Governance Framework.
- Establish data quality rules, standards and thresholds and ensure appropriate data quality monitoring practices are in place; lead the identification and root-cause analysis of data quality issues and support remediation efforts in a timely manner based on priority.

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed? We’d love to work with you if you have:
- Post-Secondary degree in a quantitative /computer science /data & analytics field. Relevant Master’s Degree is desirable. A minimum of seven or more years of progressive, relevant and practical experience in people analytics and data management; a proven track record of success in analytical reporting and the implementation/management of supporting technology systems.
- Expert understanding of data management structure, big data, business requirements, analytics, reporting delivery – incl Enterprise Data Lake, database management & technology reporting tools (PowerBI) and coding languages.
- Experienced in leading applied employee research and knowledge of behavioral science and industrial/organizational psychology.
- Excellent knowledge of Statistics (SAS, SPSS), Data Mining (MS SQL), Business Intelligence and Office Automation software packages including good knowledge of computer languages.
- Strong project management skills with a proven ability to work independently and proactively to drive data management and analytics efforts.
- Leadership and communication skills required to manage, prioritize and execute diverse activities and projects concurrently. Also, collaborative leadership skills to drive people development and strong team growth.
- Integrity, high attention to detail, thoroughness, and accuracy are critical to ensure quality outputs. Solid organizational interpersonal and communication skills and be able to direct varied activities within tight time frames.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential in dealing with many senior internal and external parties, as well as preparing reports for Executive Management.
