Purpose:

The Director, Transformation will lead high‑priority strategic initiatives that shape the future of Global Marketing. This role is accountable for developing, managing, and executing complex transformation programs end‑to-end - from strategy development and planning through execution, risk management, and value tracking. The ideal candidate is a strategic operator and program leader - adept at structuring ambiguity, influencing senior stakeholders, driving disciplined execution, and enabling organizational change at scale. They bring a rare combination of strategic insight, operational rigor, superior project management discipline, and exceptional change leadership.

Strategic Initiative Leadership & Business Partnership

  • Lead the identification, prioritization, and development of high‑impact strategic marketing initiatives across Global Marketing, leveraging advanced analytics, insights, and cross‑functional collaboration.
  • Translate enterprise and marketing strategy into cohesive transformation roadmaps and multi‑year initiative plans with defined milestones and KPIs.
  • Partner with senior marketing and business leaders to advance priorities that drive profitability, enhance client engagement, and strengthen marketing effectiveness.
  • Represent Marketing in enterprise-wide strategic planning and transformation forums, advocating for the function’s needs and ensuring alignment to broader organizational strategies.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to identify opportunities for innovation, operational excellence, and prioritization across global marketing teams.

 

Program & Project Management Excellence

  • Lead sophisticated, multi-workstream global transformation programs across the marketing organization, including operating model redesign, capability builds, technology modernization, and data enablement.
  • Establish and maintain disciplined PMO governance, including program charters, timelines, critical paths, interdependency mapping, and risk mitigation frameworks.
  • Manage initiative budgets with an enterprise lens, ensuring investments align with strategic priorities and expected outcomes.
  • Develop executive‑ready communication materials, dashboards, and presentations to track progress, surface risks, and support decision‑making.
  • Ensure initiatives are delivered predictably, efficiently, and with measurable impact, escalating issues proactively to maintain momentum.

 

Change Enablement & Strategic Communications

  • Lead change management efforts supporting Marketing’s strategic initiatives, ensuring clarity, consistency, and alignment with the Bank’s values and strategic direction.
  • Develop compelling narratives that build understanding, alignment, and commitment to new processes, structures, technologies, and ways of working.
  • Support leaders in delivering transformation messaging and navigating organizational impacts.
  • Drive consistent, human-centered communication approaches that reinforce transparency, confidence, and engagement across the global marketing community.


Cross-Functional Collaboration & Organizational Alignment

  • Collaborate with Digital, Technology, Data & Analytics, HR, Finance, and core business partners to ensure cohesive planning, integrated execution, and seamless cross-functional coordination.
  • Serve as a senior representative of Marketing in enterprise committees and cross-functional working groups focused on strategy, operations, and transformation.
  • Lead the planning and execution of Global Marketing leadership meetings, Director+ forums, strategic offsites, and team-wide events hosted by Marketing executives.
  • Identify and remove barriers that hinder operational efficiency, driving continuous improvement across processes, workflows, and organizational effectiveness.

  • 8-10 years of experience in Marketing and retail banking, with a proven track record of leading planning processes and marketing campaigns that drive measurable outcomes and support strategic priorities
  • Post-Secondary Education College or University.
  • A trailblazer in driving strategic projects, navigating complexity, and rallying diverse stakeholders toward a common vision. 
  • Unwavering customer-centric mindset, with the ability to prioritize initiatives based on their potential to drive business value and create unforgettable customer experiences. 
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, empowering you to inspire and influence stakeholders at all levels. 
  • Ability to translate complex analytical findings into clear, concise narratives (and visual presentations) for audiences of all levels (including executives).
  • Strong understanding of client segmentation, channel capacity, and distribution models.
  • Comfort working in an agile environment
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
  • Bachelor degree in Data Analytics, Marketing, Engineering, Business, or a related field. An MBA or MSc is a definite advantage. 

 

Working Conditions:

  • Work in a standard office-based environment; non-standard hours are a common occurrence
