Leads and oversees within Solutions Delivery in the Solutions Integration and Delivery (SI&D) organization ensuring business strategies, plans and initiatives are executed / delivered in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies, and procedures.
Solutions Delivery leads the execution of client-focused programs and projects, acting as a trusted partner to deepen relationships through integrity, accountability, and consistent delivery. By engaging collaboratively, the team takes a holistic view of challenges and opportunities, addressing immediate needs while shaping long-term technology roadmaps aligned with Scotiabank’s strategic vision.
The Solutions Integration and Delivery (SI&D) organization works closely with global CIOs and business lines to deliver secure, agile, and cost-effective enterprise solutions. SI&D manages intake into GTEP, coordinates global and cloud-based services with Infrastructure Architecture and Ops & Engineering, and supports a full-stack model using modern tools to deliver scalable, customer-focused solutions that drive business value and competitive advantage.
Is this role right for you?
• Leads, directs, and drives a customer focused culture throughout the entire Solutions Delivery team to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems, and knowledge.
• Accountable for delivering GTEP (Global Technology & Enterprise Platforms) projects/programs to CIO teams globally, through the oversight if their initiatives including financials
• Builds a high-performance environment and implements a people strategy that attracts, retains, develops, and motivates their team by fostering an inclusive work environment and using a coaching mindset and behaviors; communicating vison/values/business strategy; and managing succession and development planning for the team.
• Responsible for managing ~5-10 direct reports
• Understand how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.
• Creates an environment in which their team pursues effective and efficient operations of their respective areas in accordance with Scotiabank’s Values, its Code of Conduct and the Global Sales Principles, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational, compliance, AML/ATF/sanctions and conduct risk.
• Enhance and evolve reporting of the SI&D Project and Programs to build visibility and transparency in technology delivery and manage escalations with urgency and transparency when required.
• Promotes partnership and collaboration within GTEP (Global Technology & Enterprise Platforms) and with business partners and LOBs (Lines of Business)
• Ensuring Staff Objectives and Development Plans are maintained consistently
• Ensure that the Enterprise Delivery Framework is followed, and any deviations are rationalized to the Sponsors and agreed to be acceptable risk.

• Provide oversight to the co-management of vendors and third parties, where applicable, by ensuring their role is understood by the teams
Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role?
• Ability to work under tight timelines and competing priorities
• Knowledge of banking industry
• Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements (i.e. CFTC, OSFI)
• 5-10 years’ experience in the financial services industry, managing large complex technology projects and programs that have significant IT and operational components.
• 5-10 years’ experience with staff and resource management skills
• Comprehensive knowledge of program and project management methodologies
• Comprehensive knowledge with technology platforms/systems (e.g. Mid-Range, Cloud, Host, MS)
• Portfolio Management an asset
• Bachelor’s degree in business or technology
• PMP Designation an asset
• Fluency in Spanish is considered an asset
