The Team
The Global Identity & Access Management (GIAM) organization is responsible for the definition, execution and governance of security controls pertaining to employee identity and access across the enterprise.  This includes managing privileged access, authentication & authorization, as well as access provisioning, access certifications.

 

The role
The Director of Privileged Access Management (PAM) provides direction, oversight, and strategic management of Scotiabank's privileged access management.  The director manages a full-stack team who, in collaboration with technology stakeholders, develops PAM strategy and roadmap for protecting privileged access on-prem and Cloud at Scotiabank. The director delivers and operates enterprise PAM solutions, as well as defines and operates PAM controls across servers, applications, data centers and cloud environments while providing oversight and governance.

  • You enjoy challenges of working on different types of projects (from large complex to simple).
  • You love to collaborate with various business lines, IT support functions and Cyber Security functions.
     

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role?

  • You have 3+ years of experience of PASM and PEDM capabilities and solutions.
  • You have 3+ years of experience in architecting, developing & integrating, and implementing PAM solutions.
  • You have 5+ years of experience managing complex solutions and large IT teams.
  • You have a minimum of 1 year of experience with Cloud IAM technologies.
  • You have a minimum of 1 year of experience with Identity and Access Management concepts and capabilities across Authentication, Authorization, and Governance.
  • You possess advanced communication (verbal/written/presentation) skills to deliver strong business-focused presentations. Spanish is a strong asset.
  • Post-secondary education in Computer Science / technology or business.
  • Certification(s) (CISSP, CISM, CCSP) would be an asset(s).
