The Director, Lean Six Sigma Process Design, will lead strategic transformation initiatives focused on re-engineering critical business processes to improve efficiency, reduce risk, and enhance customer experience. This is a senior leadership role requiring expertise in process optimization, change management, and stakeholder engagement within a complex, regulated financial environment.

 

Is this role right for you? In this role, you will be driving:   

  • Analyze and redesign processes: Conduct in-depth analysis of existing processes to identify areas for improvement across business units. This includes using focus groups, interviews, and time studies to collect both quantitative and qualitative data.
  • Develop strategies: Shape the operational landscape by creating process blueprints and roadmaps that align with company modernization and business strategies.
  • Identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and automation opportunities.
  • Design future-state processes leveraging best practices, technology, and regulatory compliance.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive process redesign roadmap.
  • Align process improvements with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with senior executives, operations teams, and technology partners.
  • Facilitate workshops and communicate recommendations to leadership.
  • Partner with project managers and technology teams to ensure successful execution.
  • Monitor progress, manage risks, and report on key milestones.
  • Drive adoption of redesigned processes through training and communication plans.
  • Ensure minimal disruption to business operations during transition.

 

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? We'd love to work with you if you have:  

  • 10+ years in process improvement, operations strategy, or business transformation.
  • Proven experience leading large-scale process redesign initiatives in financial services.
  • Expertise in process re‑engineering methodologies (Lean Six Sigma, value stream mapping, TO‑BE design)
  • Strong knowledge of banking regulatory and compliance requirements (AML/ATF, privacy, operational risk)
  • Familiarity with risk and control frameworks, audit readiness, and governance practices
  • Ability to embed digital levers (automation, analytics, AI‑assisted workflows) into process design
  • Strategic thinking and ability to set a 12–24-month transformation roadmap
  • Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills
  • Proven ability to lead cross‑functional teams and manage change adoption at scale

  • Results‑oriented with a focus on benefits realization and measurable outcomes
  • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or equivalent.
  • PMP or Agile certifications preferred.
