As Senior Product Manager Wealth & Advisory, Wealth Journeys, you will contribute to the overall success of the Digital Wealth roadmap through helping to establish and drive our Digital Wealth & Advisory strategy.  You will work closely with digital, business, and technology partners to develop the strategy for digital Wealth experiences.  You will be responsible for working closely with business partners to define and prioritize a backlog, build out agile delivery processes, and ensure customer-centered design approaches are facilitated in planning and delivery in partnership with Design.  This role ensures all activities conducted are in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures.

  • Champions a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge.
  • Lead the cross-platform enterprise roadmap for direct investing at Scotia Digital
  • Partner closely with Product Design to drive initiatives that connect the Web and Mobile user experiences 
  • Partner with Wealth Digital Transformation, Wealth Technology, and Scotia Digital Engineering leads to ensure an effective operating model across Mobile and Web delivery
  • Agile product management for Scotia Digital scrum teams to prioritize effectively and manage inter-dependencies across key Retail scrum teams like SOL Web Modernization
  • Work to seamlessly connect Scotia Digital expert teams (e.g. Change Management) into iTRADE Program roadmap to support go-to-market strategies, new application decision, cross-channel inter-dependence management, advanced analytics, security, and more
  • Partner with International Wealth Management to look at reusability of Canada components in other markets across the Bank’s footprint
  • This will be a Technical Product leadership role
  • Understands how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.
  • Actively pursues effective and efficient operations of his/her respective areas in accordance with Scotiabank’s Values, its Code of Conduct and the Global Sales Principles, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational, compliance, AML/ATF/sanctions and conduct risk.

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role?

  • Minimum 3-5 years experience in Digital Product Management using agile practices
  • Education in Computer Science or related Technical Field preferred
  • Strong organizational skills an asset
  • Strong technical competency an asset
  • Financial services experience an asset
