We are looking for an accountable and driven Delivery Manager to join Global Wealth Management Technology (GWMT) – where we develop and modernize the technology that powers the Global Wealth Management business lines. GWMT consists of departments with high performing agile teams working closely together to deliver, support, and maintain the many applications and ecosystems within Global Wealth.
Is this role right for you? In this role you will:
- Oversee delivery for multiple digital teams building web and mobile customer experiences.
- Maintain and communicate an integrated delivery roadmap across product, design, and engineering functions.
- Ensure sprint commitments, release timelines, and feature delivery targets are met.
- Coordinate cross-team dependencies, proactively removing risks and bottlenecks.
- Track delivery KPIs (velocity, throughput, cycle time, defect rates) and drive continuous improvement.
- Ability to understand technical complexity, architecture discussions, and evaluation technical risks
- Serve as the primary point of contact for senior business, technology, and operational stakeholders.
- Facilitate clear, consistent communication around delivery progress, risks, and release plans.
- Balance competing priorities across departments while maintaining alignment with strategic business outcomes.
- Manage expectations, negotiate timelines, and ensure all stakeholders understand impacts, trade-offs, and constraints.
- Ensure delivery activity aligns with budget, funding approvals, and cost controls.
- Monitor resource allocation, contractor usage, and burn rates to maintain financial oversight.
- Provide fiscal transparency through forecasting, financial tracking, and variance explanations.
- Support business cases, cost-benefit analysis, and prioritization decisions based on budget realities.
- Champion agile best practices and delivery discipline across all squads.
- Facilitate sprint ceremonies, backlog refinement, and release planning with teams.
- Identify process gaps, optimize team workflows, and enhance delivery governance structures.
- Identify and manage delivery risks, operational constraints, and cross-team dependencies.
- Coordinate QA and release processes to ensure high-quality, stable deployments.
- Support production readiness, post-release verification, and incident/root cause analysis when needed.
- Manage external vendors contributing to development, design, QA, or platform support.
- Oversee SOWs, SLAs, performance expectations, and financial compliance.
- Ensure vendors are integrated into the agile delivery model effectively.
Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? We’d love to work with you if you have:
- 8+ years of technical project management experience and/or leading large cross-functional/cross-regional teams on major organizational projects primarily dealing with software development releases.
- Proven success managing delivery across multiple agile teams in a digital environment.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, including executive communication and expectation management.
- Demonstrated financial accountability (budget tracking, forecasting, cost management).
- Deep understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and SDLC.
- Ability to balance business priorities, design needs, and technical constraints.
- Proficiency in defining technical roadmaps, decisions on technology stacks and guiding teams on best practices.
- Hands-on experience with Jira, Confluence, and agile reporting tools.
- Hands-on experience leading release management activities for successful delivery of product launches
- Working experience in Digital solutions team in Banking/Wealth / Brokerage industry is an asset.
- Engineering or software development experience is a strong asset
