Are you passionate about crafting engaging digital content that makes a difference? We are looking for a forward-thinking Content Designer to join our dynamic design team in Toronto. At Scotiabank, we believe in continuous learning and professional growth, and we are dedicated to enhancing client engagement through innovative digital content. As a Content Designer, you will play a crucial role in translating complex financial concepts into clear, audience-aware content. You will work closely with a lead designer and a dedicated team of 10 professionals, contributing to Scotiabank's digital app ecosystem. This full-time position offers an exciting opportunity for growth within a content community of practice.

Is this role right for you? In this role, you will:

• Create and Refine Digital Content: Craft concise, consistent UI content that resonates with users.
• Collaborate with Designers and Developers: Build positive relationships and contribute to content strategy and design.
• Plan and Prioritize Deliverables: Coordinate tasks efficiently to meet project deadlines.
• Use User Research: Leverage insights to craft proactive messaging that aligns with user needs.
• Measure Content Effectiveness: Utilize data to improve content strategies and outcomes.
• Review Designs Using Figma: Ensure content aligns with visual elements and enhances user experience.

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? We'd love to work with you if you have: 

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in content strategy, content management systems, and user research.
• Experience: 3-5 years of experience collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Technologies: Familiarity with Figma is essential.
• Attention to Detail: Your determination to deliver accurate and impactful content is key.
• Collaboration Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to work effectively with diverse teams.
• Curiosity and Empathy: A willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• Problem-Solving Mindset: Ability to resolve challenges creatively and efficiently.
