Purpose


The Manager – Change Management / Global Finance will be responsible for supporting the successful rollout of Global Finance Optimization (GFO) projects and change initiatives with a focus on the organizational and the people side of change derived from changes made to systems, business processes, technology, policies, and organizational culture.

The execution of change activities includes stakeholder assessment / engagement, change readiness, resistance management, training, project communications, and overall change management plan development and implementation. 
 

Key Accountabilities 

The Manager will succeed by creating strong partnerships with the business teams and stakeholders to implement changes for the Source to Settle (S2S) Program:   

  • Lead and/or facilitate the creation and execution of the Change Management Strategy and Plan
  • Facilitate change management activities including change impact analysis, organizational readiness assessment, stakeholder identification and engagement, stakeholder communication, knowledge transfer, user training and coaching activities 
  • Lead / facilitate working sessions with business leaders and cross-functional teams to explain the scope of the change, case for the change and future state vision 
  • Facilitate the calendaring and scheduling of regular touch points with stakeholders to mobilize change, create a sense of urgency and anticipate / remove barriers to change  
  • Liaise with different teams on creating, tracking, and executing the communication strategy, change rollout plan and change roadmap    
  • Prepare and facilitate the execution of training for different Finance and non-finance teams as required
  • Engage and/or continuously interact with Project Sponsors and leads within the Global Finance team to ensure a clear understanding of their communication needs and requirements.
  • Ensure that the solutions proposed, plans and initiatives are supported by full compliance with governing regulations, internal policies, and procedures.
  • Support GFO project teams in integrating change management activities into their project plans   
  • Carryout post-implementation reviews to derive lessons learned from each initiative and/or solution deployment and communicate/report findings to relevant stakeholders.
  • Other GFO/Global Finance initiatives ad-hoc responsibilities as assigned.

 

Experience and Education  

 

  • Under-graduate degree in Business or equivalent
  • 5+ years of experience in change Management, guiding change, creating change management materials and high-quality deliverables 
  • Demonstrated experience in Communications of change / transformation projects 
  • Financial services industry and or Finance experience preferred
  • Knowledge of Change Management frameworks is required. A certificate in Change Management (CCMP, Prosci, CMI, CMS, or similar) is highly desirable 
  • Experience providing and/or organizing training on systems implementation / decommissioning and process improvement would be an asset
  • Practical Project Management knowledge and/or experience working on projects and implementing approaches and tools would be beneficial   
     

This is a temporary full time role for 18 months.
