Day-to-day responsibilities

 

  • New issue administrator responsible for deal documentation, deal entry, and deal co-ordination.
  • Updating Excel and Access based models, and emailing marketing material internally/ externally.
  • Assist in the dissemination of the desk’s marketing initiatives (internal and external).
  • Setting up daily conference calls
  • Act as ‘investor - issuer relations’ coordinator for roadshows and presentations, from concept stage to execution. 
  • Producing PowerPoint presentations, and taking initiative in designing slides and graphics to best represent data
  • Design queries to extract information and derive conclusions from raw data
  • Maintain databases and scheduled tasks
  • Perform daily account reconciliations and other administrative tasks tied to accounting and settlement
  • Prepare, analyze and distribute daily commentaries to clients

 

The Candidate will typically have the following characteristics:

 

  • Ability to be a strong communicator, and demonstrate team based skills a key asset.
  • Multitask, excellent problem resolution and time management skills
  • Ability to quickly and effectively respond to enquiries with confidence
  • Ability to work in a fast paced and stressful environment and remain focused
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • High competency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. 
  • Experience in Access, VBA, and Bloomberg would be a distinguishing factor (at minimum the basics expected to be learned)
  • Ability to learn and understand trading systems
  • Be a creative thinker, and independently generate ideas

 

 

Education – College or University diploma
