Application: TENX – MDM is the master data management platform for GBM business in Scotia Bank.

The application is responsible for managing and maintain Master data sets for Client, Book, Product and Legal Entity

Application is also responsible for processing trade and position data for regulatory reporting.

 

Job Description: TENX – MDM team is looking for a senior business analyst with prior experience of data warehousing and reference data management.

The candidate will be responsible for working with various stake holders and data providers and consumers to understand the business needs and getting them documented and work with the development team to get them successfully implemented

Candidate will be engaged in conversations and discussions related to changes in data providers source system and aligning TENX application to continue processing the data without issues.

Handling and management of tickets for monthly release cycles, coordinating with business, development team and reporting to management.

Detailed documentation of requirements and existing processes.

 

Experience:

The candidate should be well versed in business terminologies related to client , book and product.

Have experience working in data warehouse or related large scale data sets platform.

Must understand batch processing and have experience reading and identifying issues based on details available in log files

Must have experience in data analysis , querying databases, running analytics on data, what if analysis

Atleast 3-5 experience of business analysis in a technical role.

Experience in finance sector is a plus

Ability to read Python code

 

 

Skill Set :

Proficient in SQL queries and database concepts

Clear understanding of application development life cycle

Ability to create and document BRD, FRD and traceability Matrix

Ability to create and run test cases

Basic Unix commands

Good verbal and writing skills

 

Qualifications:

Bachelors or masters degree in computer science /computer engineering.
