Job Description:

The individual, under general direction, is responsible for the resolution of complex business problems for digital products. 


This includes formulating and defining system scope and objectives based on both customer needs and a good understanding of applicable business systems and industry requirements for the assigned digital product. 



Analyze business and customer needs, documenting requirements and translating them into use cases for user stories.

Discover the business rules and therefore the requirements needed for a feature to be executed from beginning to end.

Document and understand the microservices layer; inclusive of documenting domain and technical rules.

Independently resolve complex, multi-faceted problems. This includes conducting research and analysis, accurately and clearly defining user requirements and processes, and liaising with the users.

Perform efficient and effective analysis, to document business requirements as it relates to how the systems work.

Assist the team in the defining, documenting and execution of solutions and build out test strategies including edge cases.

Assist in feature development by defining business requirements and processes, developing test strategies and test cases, and support testing efforts.

Recommend opportunities for systems and operational improvement and efficiency to support business goals and objectives.

Document and update business requirements/process flows.

Understand the business requirements and be the expert for host systems in order to answer questions from the development team swiftly and decisively or be able to quickly retrieve the answers through the built network.

Continually acquire and enhance knowledge to support feature development for the digital product.



Self-starting, results oriented and highly motivated individual with very good analytical skills in order to apply this knowledge to independently resolve complex business problems.

Ability to gather and analyze information and provide feasible solutions to problems.

Ability to visualize and articulate complex problems and concepts.

Strong written and communication skills.

Strong interpersonal skills.

Strong analytical and planning skills.

Domain knowledge in the following systems used: SOL, KT and Host systems.

Demonstrated working knowledge of formal traditional and Agile project methodologies and documentation needs with attention to quick turnaround times.

Ability to work effectively in a team environment with business partners and technical service providers, focused on solution driven outcomes.

Possess a very good understanding of current technology practices, systems development techniques, including requirements specification and testing methodologies, real time analytical and formal modelling tools and keep current with rapidly changing technology.

A recognized under-graduate degree in business, economics, mathematics or a related discipline, along with 3 to 5 years of practical experience is required.
