As a Business Systems Analyst, you will be leading and overseeing Digital Engineering Operations in Canada ensuring business strategies, plans and initiatives are executed / delivered in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures.

  • Leads and drives a customer focused culture throughout their team to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge
  • Prepare operational reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information and trends
  • Explore opportunity to streamline and automate the data collection and report generation process
  • Manage project transition to operational support teams
  • Improve organizational efficiency & flexibility by maintaining operational process via collecting information and updating knowledge base
  • Understand how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions
  • Builds a high performance environment and implements a people strategy that attracts, retains, develops and motivates their team by fostering an inclusive work environment and using a coaching mindset and behaviours; communicating vison/values/business strategy; and, managing succession and development planning for the team.

 

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed?

  • 2+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst in a challenging IT system solution agile or lean environment
  • Having an Engineering or Computer Science degree, and pride yourself on analysis, logical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Notice all the little details for every document / requirement / conversation that comes across you, and it drives you crazy that others cannot keep everything consistent
  • Do good work, and lots of if; the drive to deliver quality work is just a part of you
  • Able to simplify complex situations and navigate ambiguity
  • Understanding or experience in automating report generation process (Nice-to-have)
