The Role 
 

We are looking for an enthusiastic Business Quality Analyst to innovate and collaborate on the value-driven goals in delivering customer value. You will be exposed to a wide range of businesses both internally and externally, then leveraging Scotiabank’s strong technology base, build and develop on strategic, forward-looking infrastructure.

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role?

  • Strong expertise in business process mapping, requirements gathering & documenting and system analysis
  • Core analytical and problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and business stakeholders, translating complex information into clear insights
  • Ability to conduct gap analysis on different payment standards
  • Strong ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders across the bank
  • Ability to quickly adapt and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Ability to proactively identify project risks and contribute to overall project health and success
  • Proficiency in using Jira / Confluence/ MS Office
  • Payments Domain Knowledge is an asset
  • Experience working in Agile project methodology
  • Experience in Banking/Financial industry is a nice-to-have
  • Translate complex business needs into clear and concise functional requirements and user stories
  • Perform test execution in various test cycles
  • Participate in workshops and working sessions with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements
  • Contribute to design and optimization of PCBE processes, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements
  • Perform gap analysis, root cause assessments, and release readiness reviews for system enhancements or upgrades
  • Monitor post-implementation performance and incident resolution
  • Must be able to work within tight deadlines and schedules which may result in extended working hours during peak time to meet project deliverables
