The Business Analyst contributes to the success of the Canadian Business Bank through partnership support and collaboration and through championing a customer focused culture and keeping the bank safe.
This role supports projects and initiatives that contribute to the success of the Canadian Commercial Bank through collaboration with partners and stakeholders.     

 

Is this role right for you? In this role, you will:   

  •  
  •  Champions a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge.
  • Supports Commercial technology projects by building, documenting and prioritizing the business requirements of the various stakeholders and ensuring that these projects align with business needs.
  • Foster, build and maintain relationships with partners across all business lines to ensure smooth project execution 
  • Oversee the technology onboarding and offboarding processes for Canadian Commercial Banking employees. This includes managing the equipment inventory and controlling access to core Commercial Applications to ensure that employees have the necessary tools and access to perform their roles effectively.
  • Understand how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.
  • Actively pursues effective and efficient operations of their respective areas in accordance with Scotiabank’s Values, its Code of Conduct and the Global Sales Principles, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational, compliance, AML/ATF/sanctions and conduct risk.
