The Team

 

You will be joining a highly skilled architecture and engineering team dedicated to developing and supporting Global HR applications. This team contributes to the overall success of Global HR Technology ensuring specific individual goals, learning opportunities, plans, and initiatives are executed / delivered in support of the team’s business strategies and objectives. 

 

The Role

 

As a Technical Business Lead Analyst, you will collaborate with Product Owners, Engineers, Architects and QA testers to ensure technical requirements received for changes on existing applications are reviewed and understood by all to allow smooth releases of new projects and application changes. Your responsibilities include technical troubleshooting, thorough analysis of business requirements and providing solutions to complex issues.

 

What will you do?

 

  • Collaborate with teammates to plan, design, develop, test, and maintain HR business applications.
  • Translate business needs into clear, actionable technical requirements, and ensure requirements are feasible and aligned with system capabilities.
  • Collaborate with technical team to define overall testing approach and perform acceptance testing to validate business requirements in rapid iterations.
  • Assist in creating test cases, execute test cases, conduct regression testing, identify and resolve bugs.
  • Tracking and troubleshooting software bugs and investigating the root cause.
  • Identify opportunities for process or system improvements to management team and product owners, based on recurring issues or feedback.
  • Create clear documentation like user stories, requirements, and process flows.
  • Facilitate meetings, demos, and status updates to ensure alignment between stakeholders. Track progress and ensures timely delivery of milestones.

 

What do you need to succeed?

 

  • Post secondary degree in computer science, Information Technology, business analysis, or a related field is preferred.
  • 3+ years of working experience in system or technical business analysis.
  • Extensive SQL Scripting with ability to Query and write stored Procedures.
  • Working knowledge of ticketing systems (Service Now, Jira), SQL tools and monitoring tools (Dynatrace, Splunk).
  • Technical working experience in a full or hybrid Agile environment. Knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
  • Solid understanding of Employee Lifecycle
  • Strong knowledge of HR technology Business Processes
  • Ability to understand and evaluate existing systems and propose improvements.
  • Understanding how systems communicate and integrate via APIs. Understanding of databases and ability to query data.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver results under fast-paced environment.
  • Creativity and flexibility to identify technical solutions to resolve business problems in a rapidly changing and demanding environment.
  • Passion for contributing to high-performance teams.
  • Exceptional written and communication skills to be able to explain complex technical solutions and concepts.
  • Knowledge of programming languages is nice to have.
  • Bilingualism in Spanish/English is an asset.
