Boasting a unique global footprint, GTB’s comprehensive suite of innovative banking solutions help our business clients generate operational efficiencies, streamline and simplify payments, improve working capital performance, and mitigate financial risk.
At Scotiabank, we embrace your strengths, ideas, and ambitions. GTB is a fast-growing team with a focus on the Americas, particularly Canada, the U.S., Mexico, and we are seeking top tier talent to complement our organization.
Purpose
The Bilingual (Spanish/English) Content Manager plays a pivotal role in supporting the Global Transaction Banking (GTB) Sales organization by leading the development of high‑impact, client‑facing materials. This includes PowerPoint presentations, pitchbooks, sales sheets, and treasury consultative documents that enable strong, insight‑led client engagements.
Working in close collaboration with Sales, Product, Marketing, and partners across International Banking, the role contributes directly to the financial success of GTB Sales and Product teams globally. The incumbent is responsible for managing and evolving the overall GTB content library, ensuring materials are current, accessible, and aligned to the Bank’s strategy and value proposition.
This role oversees the end‑to‑end creation and governance of client‑facing content across GTB and multiple business units—including Corporate, Commercial, and Small Business Banking. The objective is to deliver tailored, competitive, consistent, and high‑quality presentations that meet client needs while adhering to regulatory requirements, internal policies, brand standards, and governance frameworks.
What You’ll Do
- Collaborate with global Product and Sales partners to develop and deliver sales collateral for Commercial, Corporate, and Multinational Corporate clients, aligned to product launches and key initiatives.
- Develop clear, persuasive content that distills complex concepts into concise, client‑ready messaging for diverse audiences.
- Curate and expand the GTB content library by partnering with subject matter experts to assemble tailored, client‑facing materials aligned to Sales requirements.
- Align closely with Marketing to ensure content adheres to GTB objectives, brand standards, and the Bank’s visual identity.
- Support change management efforts for the new content library and proposal automation platform, including training Sales and Product teams.
- Identify content enhancement opportunities to improve efficiency and deliver a seamless, intuitive user experience.
- Produce high‑quality treasury consultative documents while identifying potential new business opportunities and service enhancements.
- Assist with additional responsibilities as required by the Senior Manager, Strategic Content Solutions.
- Ensure all activities align with the Bank’s risk appetite, risk culture, Code of Conduct, Global Sales Principles, and applicable operational, compliance, AML/ATF, sanctions, and conduct risk requirements.
What You’ll Bring
- Education: Undergraduate degree in Finance, Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related discipline.
- Experience: 3+ years of experience developing sales pitches and marketing collateral, preferably within a bank, financial institution, or related financial services environment.
- Banking Knowledge: Understanding of transactional banking services for large, international organizations, or a demonstrated ability to quickly develop subject‑matter expertise.
- Accessibility: Knowledge of accessibility standards and their application to client‑facing content.
- Writing Skills: Exceptional written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts clearly, concisely, and accurately; strong attention to detail and command of grammar and punctuation.
- Technical Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Word, PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat; experience with centralized content libraries (e.g., Responsive, Seismic) preferred; graphic design skills are an asset.
- Execution & Communication: Highly organized and self‑motivated, with strong stakeholder and project management skills; able to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines while communicating fluently in English and Spanish.
- Languages: Spanish fluency (written and oral) required; French proficiency is an asset.
What’s in it for you?
- Environment: Thrive in a fast‑paced, entrepreneurial setting focused on delivering innovative payments, digital, and cash management solutions to Business Banking clients.
- Global Exposure: Leverage Scotiabank’s extensive global network while collaborating with stakeholders across regions and markets.
- Culture: Be part of a diverse, inclusive, and collaborative workplace that fosters creativity, curiosity, and celebrates success.
- Adaptability: Operate in a continuously evolving regulatory and industry landscape, requiring agility, flexibility, and awareness of emerging trends and expectations.
- Technology: Access modern tools and technology designed to enable exceptional, visually compelling client experiences.
- Learning: Benefit from online and in‑person learning opportunities to continuously build and expand your skill set.
