Purpose
As the Senior Manager, IB Business Deposit & Growth within Global Transaction Banking (GTB), you will serve as the regional, data‑driven go‑to‑market and analytics lead for IB Business Deposits. You will be the senior strategic owner responsible for turning data and insight into measurable P&L outcomes across the region.
In this highly autonomous role, you will set the analytical agenda for forecasting and scenario modelling (NII, FTP, IE), lead deep dives that uncover structural efficiencies, and standardize dashboards, KPIs, and canonical data so countries operate from a single source of truth. You’ll design regional roadmaps and multi‑country campaigns and own the closed‑loop commercial funnel—spotting execution gaps early and driving timely course correction.
You will translate complex analysis into simple, reusable playbooks and executive‑ready insights that improve mix/NIM and accelerate growth. You will work closely with IB Country Heads, Product, Sales, Risk, Compliance, and Data partners to drive consistent execution, escalate risks with clear mitigants, and maintain an executive cadence on performance, opportunities, and next actions—all while ensuring full regulatory and compliance alignment.
What You’ll Do:
- Build and execute short‑ and long‑term strategies to achieve deposit growth and revenue targets.
- Develop forecasting and scenario models for NII, FTP, and Interest Expense, quantifying rate sensitivities, elasticities, and expected campaign lift.
- Lead analytical deep dives on FTP/IE to identify efficiencies and structural opportunities; validate findings with Local Liquidity teams and Treasury.
- Design regional roadmaps (segmentation, sizing, competitive trends) and convert insights into targeted acquisition, deepening, and retention plays.
- Define and standardize canonical data and IB dashboards to ensure aligned reporting across all markets (IB Daily & Monthly Scorecards).
- Deliver daily insight packs on flows, pricing dispersion, at‑risk cohorts, and micro‑opportunities to guide country portfolio tactics.
- Analyze customer, product, and competitive data to uncover revenue levers and support mid‑cycle adjustments.
- Model P&L drivers and contribute to annual profit planning across revenue forecasts and scenario design.
- Prepare executive‑ready performance materials and own scorecard and metric visibility across IB Liquidity Solutions.
- Translate analytics into simple, reusable field guidance and enablement materials for GTB Sales.
- Partner with Product on readiness, efficiency tracking, and prioritized product, channel, process enhancements.
- Support regional and country teams with data extracts, opportunities, lead lists, and presentations.
- Lead the regional GTM engine: campaign design, segmentation, targeting, offer constructs, and sales playbooks.
- Own the full closed‑loop funnel (leads → opportunities → wins), providing insights that guide country execution.
- Package reusable commercial playbooks and coordinate with Marketing/Product on materials.
- Identify funnel and coverage gaps, escalate issues, and work with the Mexico Hub to recalibrate priorities.
- Track and enhance cross‑bank referrals and provide analytics support for large strategic deals.
- Operate across multiple LATAM markets, influencing without authority through strong prioritization and executive storytelling.
- Maintain alignment with Risk, Compliance, Operations, and Data to ensure reporting integrity and regulatory adherence.
- Collaborate with Sales and Product to support RFP responses, resolve inquiries, close product gaps, and improve client experience.
- Exercise high autonomy within GTB/IB frameworks, escalating non‑standard issues and material risks.
- Ensure all initiatives comply with operational risk, AML, regulatory guidelines, and audit requirements.
- Contribute to the regional operating rhythm and timely delivery of scorecards, committee materials, and executive packs.
- Deliver product and portfolio updates through multi‑channel communications to GTB Sales and business lines.
- Identify training needs and deliver education programs to accelerate sales growth.
- Support senior leadership with insights, commentary, product reviews, business reviews, and strategic session materials.
What You'll Bring:
- A self‑starter mindset with strong initiative, confidence, and the ability to manage shifting priorities while identifying new opportunities.
- University degree in business or finance; MBA considered an asset.
- Fluency in English and Spanish is required.
- 7–10 years’ experience in deposit product or growth roles within banking, with multi‑country LATAM exposure.
- Deep understanding of business liquidity economics (NII, NIM, betas) and competitive transaction‑banking dynamics.
- Demonstrated experience in GTM/campaigns, business cases, and profit planning in partnership with Sales and Product.
- Strong executive‑level communication and influence skills; proven ability to collaborate with Risk/Compliance within governance frameworks.
- Advanced Excel and Power BI skills required; Python/SQL experience is a plus.
- Knowledge of internal banking systems and Agile experience considered assets.
- A positive, proactive attitude and confidence to drive team and regional priorities.
