Purpose
The Integration Solutions team is a dynamic team focused on adding value to the bank by solving business problems through innovative solutions, leveraging modern tools, fostering a collaborative and creative environment, operating with efficiency, and executing with speed and quality
As a automation tester, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and integrity of software solutions within the banking domain. You will contribute to testing strategy, planning, execution, automation, and reporting, while ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards.
Accountabilities
- Develop and execute test strategies, plans, and cases based on business and technical requirements
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing.
- Identify, log, and track defects using tools like JIRA
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to clarify requirements and resolve issues.
- Support automation efforts using tools such as Selenium, Java, Maven, TestNG
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement of QA practices.
- Prepare documentation such as test strategies, test plans, and exit reports.
Education / Experience / Other Information
- University or College degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years of experience working within SDLC/TDLC environments.
- Strong experience in test planning, execution, and defect management.
- Experience in automation frameworks and tools (e.g., Selenium, Cucumber, Gherkin, Page Object Model).
- Experience with Excel API and test automation frameworks.
- Familiarity with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket, and Git.
- Familiarity with SQL queries and mainframe systems for test validation.
- Experience in the Canadian financial services industry is a strong asset.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently.

- Eagerness to learn and grow in a dynamic environment.
Working Conditions
- Work in a standard office-based environment; non-standard hours are a common occurrence. Limited travel globally.
