Leads and oversees Global Payment Operations (GPO) – Intercompany Transactions in Canada, ensuring business strategies, plans and initiatives are executed / delivered in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures.
Is this role right for you? In this role, you will:
- Leads and drives a customer focused culture throughout their team to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems, and knowledge
- Leads a team that supports intercompany transactions, including monthly charge-outs and accrual recommendations for International and Canadian subsidiaries.
- Investigates intercompany billing disputes and tracks them to resolution
- Follows-up with International / Canadian subsidiaries Finance personnel to address outstanding intercompany settlement balances.
- Facilitates discussions between International/ Canadian subsidiary Finance personnel with relevant business line users.
- Prepares and maintains operational procedures related to intercompany transactions.
- Monitors operational efficiency and effectiveness through the development, maintenance, and regular reporting of Intercompany Settlement KPIs/KRIs.
- Contributes to the maintenance of SOX PD & RCM documentation.
- Collaborates within GPO team members on continuous improvement projects.
- Understand how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? - We'd love to work with you if you have:
- University degree in finance or a related field.
- A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in banking, financial services, with a proven track record of success in driving excellence and continuous improvement.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills, with the ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- A proactive, self-motivated, and detail-oriented mindset, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Demonstrated ability to manage/,prioritize multiple tasks, and work effectively under pressure.
