Purpose
The Associate or Associate Director, Securitization Canada and Mortgage Aggregation will support Origination and Trading staff, across both business lines, on transactions, administration, reporting and verification, and initiatives. This role will report into the Securitization Canada and Mortgage Aggregation Front Office desk. The successful candidate will have a wide range of responsibilities that are integral to the smooth functioning of the businesses, including the managing of internal and external support relationships, ensuring that all stakeholder reporting is complete and accurate, and handling a wide range of administrative tasks for several business lines. This role offers exposure to various asset classes (mortgages, autos, credit cards, etc) and financing structures (ABCP, ABS, NHA MBS, CMBs, etc) on a daily basis.
What You’ll Do:
- Internal reporting for a variety of stakeholders (Risk, Treasury, Regulatory, Capital)
- External reporting for ABCP, ABS, and NHA MBS investors
- Monthly rating agency reporting
- Monitoring revenue across Securitization and Mortgage Aggregation business lines
- All tasks related to managing NHA MBS servicing, issuance and administration
- Coordinating due diligence reviews and annual audits
- Supporting eligibility criteria verification process
- Supporting Origination teams on transactions
- Liaise with product control and operations teams
- Liaise with Technology teams and Technology vendor in support of business initiatives
What You'll Bring:
- Demonstrates sound knowledge of securitization fundamentals, with experience in trade receivables, mortgages and auto related securitization preferred..
- Comfort working with very large data sets and ability to manage many projects at once a must
- Requires computer (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) proficiencies as well as excellent written and oral communication skills.
- A high level of commitment and a strong sense of teamwork are needed to succeed in the role
Work Arrangement:
This position is currently an on-site role, with the expectation that you will work at least 4 days a week in the office. Please note that this is subject to change based on the needs of the business.
