Purpose

The GBM Client Insights & Analytics team is looking for a driven and ambitious individual looking to make an impactful difference on the Salesforce Platform leveraged by our Global Banking & Markets business. As the Salesforce program is developed and grows, this individual will be given the opportunity to build something that creates significant change to how business is done today.

The Product Owner will assume ownership for the development and strategic roadmap of workstreams in the Salesforce CRM, with particular focus on Client Lifecycle Management. They will ensure that the deliverables are aligned to the business strategy and deliver on the expected business case benefits.  

 

What You’ll Do:

  • Develop and maintain a detailed prioritized product backlog in concert with other Product Owners; prioritize and sequence the Backlog according to business value/ROI
  • Establish relationships with key partners to ensure their requirements are translated into the right technology solutions
  • Facilitate problem solving as required, working closely with design, development and delivery teams on implementation challenges
  • Design and deliver comprehensive training programs for end users, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills to effectively utilize the Salesforce platform
  • Lead change management stream to ensure smooth delivery of functional improvements, roadmap items and broader rollout of workflows to front and middle office teams
  • Engage with analytics teams to establish, measure and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) for new features
  • Engage with Business Lead and effectively communicate product release contents and expected product capabilities/customer journey
  • Communicates status externally to the other POs and project stakeholders
  • Lead cross-functional teams, without direct authority, including IT and Operations and ensure effective deployment of resources by:
    • Ensuring that expectations, accountabilities, objectives and goals are effectively communicated
    • Build team competence with partner support and endorsement
    • Timely communicating to multiple stakeholders on progress and issues
    • Resolving issues between team members/stakeholders to meet objectives / overcoming obstacles/guiding to alternatives, if required
    • Reporting to senior management the progress and escalating issues with recommendations and solutions to consider
  • Champions a high-performance environment and contributes to an inclusive work environment

 

What You’ll Bring:

  • Business, Engineering, Computer Science degree with related experience in product management and/or product ownership
  • Familiarity with Capital Markets and Wholesale Banking business and operations
  • Experience in capital markets and corporate client onboarding strongly preferred
  • Proven 3+ years of experience as a Product Owner or consulting role within the Salesforce ecosystem, preferably in the financial services industry
  • Strong analytical skills with a background in analytics or a related field
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Previous work experience/success in product development/management, business analysis or in a related field
  • Excellent project delivery skills, with proven accomplishments leading cross-functional projects
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills with strong attention to detail
  • Curious and experimental mindset to drive innovation amidst uncertainty
  • Experience with Agile methodologies, preferably scrum
  • Technical knowledge with understanding of systems, design and architecture
  • Commitment to continuous learning and staying current with Salesforce developments and best practices

 

Work Arrangement: 

This position is an onsite role, with the expectation that you will work 4-5 days a week in the office. Please note that this is subject to change based on the needs of the business.
