The Associate, Intraday Liquidity Management is responsible for supporting and executing the Bank's USD intraday liquidity strategy. The role focuses on forecasting, monitoring, and managing intraday liquidity and cash positions, providing liquidity analytics and regulatory reporting, and delivering insights that support effective liquidity and collateral management across the Bank. This position plays a key role in ensuring adequate liquidity is maintained throughout the day while supporting strategic Treasury objectives.

 

Is this role right for you? In this role you will:

  • Monitor USD liquidity positions and nostro account balances throughout the day.
  • Forecast and analyze daily and short-term liquidity requirements.
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance liquidity monitoring and forecasting models.
  • Execute weekly Intraday Liquidity Stress Testing (I-LST) and analyze results.
  • Track, analyze, and report securities available for collateral management purposes.
  • Produce intraday liquidity reporting, management analytics, and regulatory reporting.
  • Calculate and validate daily USD entity positions and closing balances.
  • Monitor Federal Reserve closing balances and provide recommendations aligned with the Bank's liquidity strategy.
  • Partner with stakeholders across Treasury, Finance, Operations, Risk, and Technology to support business initiatives and process improvements.
  • Contribute to policy, governance, and process enhancements that strengthen liquidity risk management practices.
  • Participate in automation and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance reporting and analytical capabilities.

 

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role?  We’d love to work with you if you have:  

  • Undergraduate degree in Finance, Mathematics, Business, Economics, or a related discipline.
  • 3+ years of experience in Banking, Treasury, Capital Markets, Finance, Risk Management, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills.
  • Experience working with large datasets and financial analysis.
  • Proficiency in Excel, with intermediate programming skills in Python, SQL, and/or VBA considered a strong asset.
  • Knowledge of financial instruments including loans, deposits, money market products, securities, and derivatives.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and make sound recommendations in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Demonstrated curiosity, initiative, and commitment to continuous improvement.
  • CFA, FRM, or MBA designation is considered an asset.
