The role:

 

Supports the oversight and management of intraday liquidity for CUSO (Combined U.S. Operations), ensuring regulatory compliance while delivering effective liquidity monitoring, funding efficiency, and analytical insight.

 

Is this role right for you? In this role, you will:

 

  • Ensure compliance with Regulation YY intraday liquidity requirements by developing and executing monitoring, controls, and reporting processes, and performing ongoing analysis of intraday liquidity exposures, usage patterns, and risk drivers
  • Support the U.S. Cash Management Business by providing intraday funding support, analyzing liquidity usage and funding needs, and contributing to intraday liquidity management strategies to optimize funding efficiency and minimize liquidity buffers
  • Act as SME for intraday liquidity across U.S. clearing systems (e.g., Fedwire, CHIPS, DTC, CLS, etc.), providing oversight and analytics to optimize liquidity usage, manage payment flows, and enhance overall clearing efficiency
  • Manage end-of-day U.S. cash positions across correspondent banks and central bank accounts by assessing balances, coordinating funding movements, and ensuring smooth and efficient liquidity positioning

 

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? – We’d love to work with you if you have:

 

  • Degree in Finance, Economics, Data Analysis or related field
  • 3+ years’ experience in Banking
  • MBA / CFA / FRM are considered assets but not required.
  • Understanding of intraday liquidity frameworks and regulatory requirements (e.g., Reg YY)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of payment systems, clearing processes, and intraday liquidity concepts 
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Copilot; experience with Python and data visualization tools is an asset
