Purpose

The Associate, CMF Product Development will support product rollout within the Collateral Management and Funding business which comprises of Repo Trading and Collateral Optimization desks. Working closely with the product team, sales and trading, technology, operations, risk and control function stakeholders, the role will contribute to the delivery of product enhancements and strategic initiatives globally while building a strong understanding of the Collateral Management and Funding business. All activities will be carried out in alignment with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and risk management frameworks.

 

What You'll Do

  • Work as part of the CMF Product Development team to support the design, build, and rollout of product and platform enhancements across repo and collateral optimization workflows globally.
  • Assist in the delivery of key business initiatives by coordinating inputs, tracking progress, and helping resolve implementation issues across stakeholders.
  • Conduct analysis on market structure developments (e.g., clearing models, trading venues, regulatory changes) and summarize findings to support senior team decision-making.
  • Manage trading desk initiatives by helping translate business needs into clear requirements for technology and operations teams.
  • Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders for smooth product delivery.
  • Contribute to rollout activities for new products, vendors and platforms, including business requirements gathering, testing, and coordination.
  • Assist in identifying and implementing improvements to trading processes, controls, and data flows.
  • Partner with Risk and Operations teams to ensure alignment with risk frameworks and regulatory requirements.
  • Support documentation efforts including requirements, process flows, testing outcomes.
  • Manage individual workstreams within larger initiatives, ensuring timely completion of deliverables.


What You'll Bring:

  • Foundational understanding of capital markets or financing products (or strong interest in developing expertise)
  • Experience supporting projects or product enhancements in a business, technology, or operations environment
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and articulation skills with the ability to interpret data and present findings clearly
  • Comfort working with cross-functional teams and coordinating across stakeholders
  • Basic understanding of trading, risk, and operations workflows is an asset
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Effective communication skills and ability to engage stakeholders
  • Proficiency in Excel or similar analytical tools

 

Work Arrangement:
This position is currently a hybrid role, with the expectation that you will work 4 days a week in the office. Please note that this is subject to change based on the needs of the business.
