The Role
As part of the GWO OTC Confirmations team, you support the timely confirmation and control of OTC trades across global markets. You are responsible for monitoring unmatched trades, resolving breaks, and ensuring confirmations are completed in line with regulatory and internal control requirements.
Is this role right for you? In this role, you will:
- Monitor unmatched OTC trades and drive timely confirmation across products and counterparties
- Investigate and resolve confirmation breaks, identifying root causes and corrective actions
- Track and escalate aged or high-risk items to ensure timely resolution
- Support process improvements to reduce breaks and improve confirmation rates
- Provide input into operational initiatives and changes impacting confirmations workflows
- Maintain adherence to internal control procedures and regulatory requirements
- Support daily operational coverage across confirmations workstreams
- Contribute to reporting, tracking, and analysis of confirmation metrics and trends
- Ensure controls are consistently followed to mitigate operational and regulatory risk
Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? – We’d love to work with you if you have:
- Experience in OTC confirmations, trade support, or middle office operations within capital markets
- Understanding of derivatives products (rates, FX, credit, or equities) and confirmation processes
- Experience investigating trade breaks, exceptions, or unmatched transactions
- Knowledge of trade lifecycle and post-trade processes
- Familiarity with systems used for confirmations and trade processing
- Understanding of regulatory and control requirements within capital markets operations
