The Team

The Application Support team is responsible for providing production support and maintaining applications that services our commercial and corporate clients within the Global Payments Technology business line.

 

The role:

The incumbent is responsible for assisting with research and analysis to achieve resolution for the supported Line of Business.  The incumbent is also responsible for assisting with validating of new process or enhancements, the training of users, and the provision of ongoing support to all global units.

Participate in the implementation of processes by assisting in development and validation of the processes to ensure the procedures and workflows are properly utilized and defined

  • Create internal training material, job-aids
  • Coordinate and facilitate the delivery of Change and Release Management with business, technical and security teams as well as work to assist in maintaining the business line VP’s application portfolio in the Enterprise Portfolio Management tool
  • Continually acquire and enhance knowledge of the Division's business strategies and policies, risk management practices and methodologies, product offerings and rapidly changing technology to effectively assist in the provision of business solutions and services to the end user business lines.

 

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role?

The incumbent must possess good interpersonal and expert communication skills written and verbally to colleagues, senior management (Directors, VPs, SVPs and EVPs), external vendors and various business lines

  • Must have experience with MS Suite specifically be an expert in Word, Excel
  • Be able to coordinate and facilitate discussions and have experience with discovering new processes to create documentation, standard of work and innovating presentations.
  • Must have time management skills and be able to work independently
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow, JIRA and Confluence will be an asset
  • A recognized under-graduate degree in business administration
  • Must be familiar with the Global Business Payments suite of applications as well as the Change Approval Board and Technology Change Management Processes
