Job Purpose

Contributes to the overall success of the lending services for US corporate credits by administering a large portfolio of corporate loans and letters of credits where the Bank is a participating lender in a syndicated deal. The incumbent ensures specific individual goals, plans; initiatives are executed / delivered in support of the team’s business strategies and objectives.  Ensures all activities conducted are in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures.


Key Accountabilities

  • Champions a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge.
  • Processing instructions given by Agents on participations and Customers on direct deals including verification of limit available, accuracy of calculations, and disbursement/application of funds.
  • Ensuring that terms and conditions of authorizations and/or loan documentation are being adhered to including pricing, term, and amount.
  • Communicating effectively with various contacts including Agent Banks to resolve issues on a timely basis.  
  • Recognizing and bringing exceptions to policies and procedures to the attention of management for resolution when required.


Education /Work Experience

  • Working knowledge of the bank’s operating and administrative processes to resolve day to day problems with minimal delay/cost
  • Payment knowledge particularly with regards to the rules and regulations governing international and domestic wire payments.
  • Clear and concise communication skills
  • Developing a solid knowledge of corporate credit account setup and transactional recording on the main loan system to ensure accuracy of accounting and business line dissemination.
  • Assist the Assistant Manager and Manager in various team-related tasks such as follow up with team members on status and resolution of exception items as well as special project-related work.     
  • Understand how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.
  • Actively pursues effective and efficient operations of his/her respective areas, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational risk, regulatory compliance risk, AML/ATF risk and conduct risk, including but not limited to responsibilities under the Operational Risk Management Framework, Regulatory Compliance Risk Management Framework, AML/ATF Global Handbook and the Guidelines for Business Conduct.
