Purpose:

Contributes to the overall success of the Global Securitization team in Canada, ensuring specific individual goals, plans, initiatives are executed / delivered in support of the team’s business strategies and objectives.  Ensures all activities conducted follow governing regulations, internal policies, and procedures


What You'll Do:

  • Champions a customer focused culture to expand and deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge
  • Supports senior team members on term ABS lead role engagements by working with issues and deal counsels. Rating agencies 3rd party service providers ABS Syndicate and sales teams to executive transactions
  • Manage the lifecycle of securitization financing transition including participation in organisational meeting drafting of credit application analysis of collateral performance data, revieing of critical transitions document and coordination with internal and external partners.
  • Coordinates a variety of activates with the mid office and back office including the closing of new and existing transaction tracking of expirations and providing updates or changes to the terms of funding for deals as required.
  • Assists in negotiating terms and documenta with borrowers, rating agencies, legal counsel and other bank culminating in the closing or transitions
  • Works on maintaining the existing portfolio of drafting annual reviews and handing customers requests for waivers amendment and restructuring of credit facilities as well as coordinating eh requisite review by risk management
  • Attends due diligence meeting and client market meetings
  • Reviews mostly servicer reports and monitors asset performant trends on exiting transaction
  • Understand how the banks risk appetite and risk culture should be considered tin day to day actives and decisions.
  • Actively pursues effective and efficient operations of their respective areas while ensuring adequacy adherence to and effusiveness of day to day business controls to meeting obligations with respect to operations risk, regulatory compliance risk. AML/ATF risk and conduct risk including but not limited to responsibilities under the Operation Risk Management Framework, Regulatory Compliance Risk Management Framework AML.ATF Global Handbook and the guidelines for Business Conduct

What You'll Bring:

  • Demonstrates sound knowledge of securitization fundamentals, with experience in auto and mortgage related securitization preferred.
  • Degree in Business or related field. MBA/CPA/CFA or other industry designation is helpful.
  • Banking experience in a Corporate/Commercial lending or related environment.
  • Requires computer (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Python) proficiencies as well as excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Experience in credit analysis and familiarity with legal document review required
  • A high level of commitment and a strong sense of teamwork are needed to succeed in the role.

 

Work Arrangement:
This position is currently an onsite role, with the expectation that you will work 5 days a week in the office. Please note that this is subject to change based on the needs of the business.
