Purpose:
As the Analyst, Debt Capital Markets you will be an integral part of the Debt Capital Markets team. You will be responsible for deal execution, collaboration with the sales and trading team, as well as liaising with our clients and our internal teams to ensure proper bond set-ups.
What You'll Do:
- Deal Lead-up:
- Preparation for Deal Execution (when required)
- Create Exempt List and set up Canissue (when required)
- Create Syndicate Structures
- Prepare emails and gather documents for deal launch
- Syndicate Call and Pricing Invites
- During Deal:
- Continue with launch process, forward updates, forward final pricing, forward final documents etc.
- Collaborate with sales and trading team on order management, deal allocations procedure (distribution of allocations / hedge ratios etc.) and providing pricing details
- Help with speaking on syndicate calls / pricing calls and back up senior coverages on these calls, including calculation on delay costs, roll/curve adjustment, reading out terms and pricing, etc.
- Liaise with trading desks (GoC and Credit) with timely information as well as gathering prices and spreads for inputs into pricing
- Post Deal:
- Working with FTSE / Compliance team on Index Inclusion
- Creation and review of buyers list and uploading buyers to dealstore to ensure DCM receives
- real-time colour on deal execution
- Provide investors information to legal counsel (distribution certificate / purchaser details)
- Liaise with teams to ensure proper bond set-ups in internal and external systems and ticketing accurately reflected to back office in a timely manner
- Collaborate with accounting / inventory control teams to ensure P&L / risk is captured for internal purposes
- Other Day to Day Responsibilities:
- Liase with candeal for any canissue related items
- Maintain all investor distribution lists in outlook
- Maintain all syndicate distribution lists
- Maintain the street roadshow calender
- Keeper and organizer of all deal folders to ensure they are compliant
- Prepare and circulate P&L Summaries for Debt Issuance
- Liase with Trading Operations to amend investor ticketing issues and settlement
- Liase with Financial Accounting for all deal related items, p&l summaries, inquiries and deal related expenses. Assure that they have all documents required for their audits.
- Liase with Compliance on Index Form requirements and documents, circulate completed documentation to Bloomberg and PC Bond
What You'll Bring:
- An Undergraduate degree
- 3 + years experience in Capital Markets, Operations or other relevant experience
- Strong attention to detail
- A self-starter with strong organizational and interpersonal skills
- Strong written and verbal communication
Work Arrangement:
This position is currently an on-site role, with the expectation that you will work at least 4 days a week in the office. Please note that this is subject to change based on the needs of the business.
