Title:  Agile Delivery Manager

Requisition ID: 253154

Join a purpose driven winning team, committed to results, in an inclusive and high-performing culture.

Role Summary

The Scrum Master is a hybrid delivery leadership role responsible for end-to-end execution, Agile facilitation, and operational continuity across complex technical initiatives. This individual combines the capabilities of a Scrum Master, Delivery Manager, Technical Navigator, and Change Manager, acting as the central coordination point between engineering teams, infrastructure, security, operations, and business stakeholders.

This is a hands-on role for a high-energy, proactive, seasoned professional who thrives on removing blockers, driving momentum, and ensuring delivery outcomes while maintaining strong governance, risk, and compliance discipline. The Scrum Master ensures Scrum is understood and practiced effectively, while also managing operational tickets, technical dependencies, and release/change activities to keep delivery unblocked and predictable.

Mission Statement

Ensure predictable, timely delivery by enabling high-performing Agile teams, actively removing impediments, coordinating cross-team technical dependencies, and leading change/release governance to maintain delivery momentum and operational readiness.

Accountability

Agile Delivery Leadership and Scrum Excellence

  • Facilitate Scrum ceremonies: Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Refinement, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
  • Coach teams on Agile principles and Scrum best practices, fostering continuous improvement and team self-organization.
  • Partner with Product Owners to ensure backlog readiness, clear priorities, and well-formed, estimable user stories.
  • Track sprint progress, risks, dependencies, and delivery health; proactively escalate when outcomes are at risk.
  • Promote transparency, inspection, and adaptation while protecting the team from disruptive or unmanaged work.

Technical Navigation, Dependency Management, and Blocker Removal

  • Identify, own, and drive resolution of delivery blockers (access issues, approvals, environment constraints, data dependencies).
  • Proactively engage external teams (network, database, cloud, identity, cybersecurity, platform operations) to eliminate impediments.
  • Create and manage operational tickets in ServiceNow, Jira, or similar tools (access, firewall rules, infrastructure requests, account provisioning).
  • Serve as the primary operational point of contact for cross-team technical dependencies to prevent development delays.
  • Maintain delivery momentum by resolving operational issues without diverting engineers from core delivery work.

Release, Deployment, and Change Management (Governed Environments)

  • Own end-to-end change activities for deployments, including CAB submissions, approvals, evidence collection, communication, and rollback plans.
  • Validate readiness of lower environments (DEV, QA, UAT) and release preconditions before execution.
  • Coordinate release schedules, calendar slots, and deployment communications to ensure minimal disruption and clear stakeholder alignment.
  • Manage Operational Readiness activities and ensure all go-live deliverables are completed prior to production release.
  • Ensure production releases follow approved change management processes and are fully traceable for audit purposes.

Delivery Management and Stakeholder Coordination

  • Provide clear execution oversight across one or more workstreams, maintaining an integrated view of timeline, dependencies, and risks.
  • Maintain strong communication across business, technology, and operations stakeholders, ensuring expectations and impacts are understood.
  • Produce transparent status reporting (progress, risks, dependencies, decisions, mitigations).
  • Drive decisions and alignment across teams, influencing without authority and ensuring accountability for outcomes.

Governance, Risk, Compliance, and Audit Readiness

  • Ensure all requests, changes, and releases comply with organizational risk, security, and governance policies.
  • Document approvals, signoffs, and supporting evidence for traceability and audit readiness.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for governance inquiries tied to tickets, releases, and operational deliverables.
  • Support resilience practices such as disaster recovery exercises and operational readiness reviews.

Metrics, Flow, and Continuous Improvement

  • Monitor delivery metrics (velocity, burndown, cycle time, cumulative flow) to identify bottlenecks and improvement opportunities.
  • Enable forecasting and predictable delivery through healthy backlog practices and dependency management.
  • Ensure retrospectives produce actionable improvements that are implemented, tracked, and measured for impact.
  • Contribute to broader Agile maturity and transformation initiatives through sharing patterns, best practices, and lessons learned.

Education and Experience

  • Significant experience as a Scrum Master, Delivery Manager, Technical Program/Project Manager, or similar role in enterprise software delivery.
  • Strong working knowledge of Scrum and Agile principles; familiarity with Kanban and scaling approaches (SAFe or similar) is beneficial.
  • Hands-on experience with Agile and delivery tooling such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence, and operational systems such as ServiceNow.
  • Demonstrated capability coordinating across infrastructure, cloud, security, identity, and operations teams.
  • Solid understanding of change management, release governance, CAB processes, and audit-ready documentation practices.
  • Strong facilitation, communication, and conflict-resolution skills across technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Proven ability to manage ambiguity, prioritize effectively, and drive outcomes across multiple teams and stakeholders
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 7+ years of experience in Agile delivery roles such as Scrum Master, Delivery Manager, or Technical Program Manager.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Scrum, Agile frameworks, and enterprise delivery tooling.
  • Demonstrated experience working in governed or regulated enterprise environments.
  • Strong stakeholder management, facilitation, and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to drive delivery outcomes proactively and manage ambiguity.
