This is your opportunity to gain real-world experience, build your network, and explore what it’s like to work in Canadian Commercial Banking—all while contributing meaningfully to our teams. Aspire is designed for ambitious students who are curious, collaborative, and eager to learn. We're looking for students who demonstrate strong communication skills, intellectual curiosity, accountability, and a desire to make a meaningful contribution.
If you want to strengthen your technical credit, financial analysis, and business acumen, this opportunity will give you hands-on exposure within one of three Commercial Banking teams: Mid-Market, National Accounts, Real Estate Banking, or Roynat Capital. Your placement will be determined based on your interests and capabilities, the needs of each team, and available positions. Regardless of placement, you’ll build foundational skills in analyzing businesses, assessing credit, understanding risk, and supporting thoughtful financing decisions.

You may support research, company and industry analysis, financial analysis, and credit and business decisions while learning how client needs are balanced with risk and operational considerations.
-
National Accounts: The National Accounts team supports large-scale clients across Canada with customized financing and banking solutions. You may gain exposure to multifaceted financial transactions, advanced credit analysis, and the strategic and operational considerations of major corporations, public sector entities, and industry leaders.
-
Real Estate Banking: The Real Estate Banking team provides specialized financial advice and solutions to developers, investors, builders, and commercial property owners across Canada. You may gain exposure to commercial real estate transactions, project and portfolio analysis, credit adjudication, and financing decisions while developing an understanding of the full real estate lifecycle and associated risk considerations.
-
Roynat Capital: Roynat Capital provides creative financing solutions to Canadian mid-market businesses, including support for growth, expansion, mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and strategic partnerships. You may contribute to financial analysis, underwriting, investment summaries, risk mitigation strategies, and proactive portfolio management.
