If you want to strengthen your corporate finance, valuation, and transaction analysis skills, this opportunity will provide hands-on exposure to a team that advises Canadian businesses on mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and other strategic transactions. You'll gain experience analyzing companies, evaluating opportunities, supporting transaction execution, and developing an understanding of how strategic transactions help businesses achieve their growth objectives.
The Roynat Capital Mid-Market Mergers & Acquisitions team partners with business owners, entrepreneurs, and management teams to support mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and other strategic transactions. Working closely with clients throughout the transaction lifecycle, the team provides strategic advice, market insights, valuation support, and execution expertise. This role offers exposure to complex transactions, financial analysis, valuation concepts, and the opportunity to develop a foundational understanding of corporate finance and M&A advisory.

Gain exposure to mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and other strategic transactions.

Develop your understanding of how strategic transactions support business growth, succession planning, and long-term value creation.

Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders while supporting various stages of a transaction.

Ensure that the Bank's risk appetite and risk culture are considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.

Key requirements:

You are enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree in Business, Commerce, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field

Advanced coursework in corporate finance, valuation, financial modeling, mergers and acquisitions, or investment analysis is considered an asset

You have strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

You have excellent written and verbal communication skills

You have good presentation skills and consistently demonstrate professionalism

You have a natural curiosity and eagerness to learn about Commercial Banking
