If you're interested in data, analytics, and business insights, this opportunity will provide hands-on exposure to the National Office team responsible for helping Commercial Banking make informed business decisions through data-driven analysis and reporting. You'll gain experience analyzing data, identifying trends, developing insights, and supporting business initiatives while building strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills. 

 

The Data & Analytics team within National Office supports Commercial Banking's strategic and operational priorities by delivering data-driven insights, reporting, and analysis that help inform decision-making across the business. The team partners with stakeholders throughout Commercial Banking to identify opportunities, measure performance, monitor trends, and develop reporting solutions that support business objectives.

  • Collect, organize, and analyze data from various sources to support business reporting and decision-making. 

  • Identify trends, patterns, and opportunities through data analysis and research. 

  • Assist in developing and maintaining dashboards, reports, and performance metrics. 

  • Support business initiatives by providing insights and recommendations based on data. 

  • Collaborate with partners across Commercial Banking to understand reporting and analytical needs. 

  • Communicate findings and insights through presentations, reports, and data visualizations. 

  • Ensure that the Bank's risk appetite and risk culture are considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.

Key requirements: 

  • You are enrolled in an undergraduate degree in Business, Commerce, Analytics, Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field 

  • You have experience using reporting, visualization, or analytical tools such as Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Python, or similar tools is considered an asset 

  • You have strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) 

  • You have excellent written and verbal communication skills 

  • You have good presentation skills and consistently demonstrate professionalism 

  • You have a natural curiosity and eagerness to learn about Commercial Banking
