The AI Solutions Lead will implement and deploy advanced AI and machine learning solutions to drive automation, 
efficiency, and innovation across the organization.Joining the Advanced Capability Office (ACO) within Global Risk Management, you will help advance the Bank’s strategic pillars through innovation, scaling AI-driven solutions, and re-engineering processes for operational excellence. 

 

As the AI Solutions Lead, your focus will be to translate AI into business outcomes at scale. You will bring deep technical expertise to the team, implementing AI capabilities that address complex business challenges across Global Risk Management. You will lead the hands-on implementation of AI solutions and collaborate closely with key stakeholders to effectively execute AI needs across the organization. In addition, you will provide support for executing and formalizing AI standards of practice to ensure consistency and quality across all initiatives, while adhering to the Bank’s AI Risk Governance framework.

 

Is this role right for you? In this role you will:

Implementation & Vendor Engagement

  • Identify use cases with stakeholders; define success metrics and guardrails.
  • Select build/buy options (custom models vs. platform features, e.g., Copilot/LLM services).
  • Assist in the strategic implementation and deployment of internal and vendor developed Large Language
  • Models (LLMs) for a wide array of banking applications, such as automated content generation (e.g., reports, summaries of financial documents), risk assessment insights, and internal knowledge management.
  • Orchestrate integration with enterprise systems (CRM, ERP, data platforms).
  • Manage pilots → production; govern risk, ethics, privacy, security.
  • Generate actionable insights derived from LLM and Agentic AI analysis to strategically inform business decisions and drive innovation.
  • Create dashboards and reporting for a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Manage relationships with AI vendors/platforms; evaluate contractual terms, privacy/security addenda, and SLAs.
  • Benchmark performance and negotiate renewals based on proven value realization.
    Strategic Leadership
  • Execute on AI roadmap and prioritize initiatives aligned with business objectives.
  • Identify opportunities for AI-driven automation in Global Risk Management. 
    Governance & Compliance
  • Ensure that all AI solutions comply with banking regulations and ethical AI standards, particularly regarding customer data transparency and responsible use of generative models. 
    Ensure strict adherence to data privacy and security standards, especially when handling sensitive customer data within generative AI systems.
    Collaboration & Communication 
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to seamlessly integrate cutting-edge AI solutions into core banking operations.
  • Effectively communicate complex GenAI & LLM solutions, project progress, and challenges to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Lead end-user enablement & change management: training plans, role-based curricula, SOPs, job aids, and process redesign.
  • Drive adoption with champions, usage analytics, feedback loops, and monthly release notes


Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? - We'd love to work with you if you have: 

  • 5+ years in technology delivery, analytics/ML, or enterprise transformation; 4+ years leading AI/ML initiatives.
  • Track record delivering AI solutions in production (LLMs, RAG, classification/regression, NLP) with measurable business outcomes.
  • Experience integrating solutions with enterprise systems (CRM, ERP, data platforms, identity/access).
  • Strong grounding in Responsible AI, privacy (PIA/DPIA), security best practices.
  • Experience with model risk management (MRM), internal audit, and compliance frameworks.
  • Demonstrated change leadership: training programs, SOPs, process redesign, and adoption management.
  • Vendor/platform management experience (contracts, SLAs, cost management, benefits tracking).
  • Familiarity with Microsoft ecosystem: Copilot for M365, Azure OpenAI, Azure ML, Purview, Entra ID.
  • Financial services or risk/credit portfolio domain experience.
  • Knowledge of observability tooling (e.g., ML monitoring, logs/metrics/traces), and CI/CD for ML.
  • Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or other cloud computing environments.
  • Demonstrable experience or a strong theoretical understanding of Large Language Models (LLMs), including fine-tuning, prompt engineering, and an awareness of their current capabilities and limitations.
  • Familiarity with Agentic AI frameworks or designing multi-step AI reasoning processes.
  • Strategic Thinking: Aligns AI initiatives to business outcomes and risk appetite.
  • Systems Thinking: Balances people, process, tech, and data for sustainable adoption.
  • Decision-Making: Pragmatic build/buy calls grounded in ROI, time-to-value, and risk.
  • Influence & Communication: Translates complex AI topics for excellent stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
  • Operational Excellence: Drives disciplined ModelOps, governance, and reliability. Ability to prioritize tasks, plan, and manage projects effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • AI/ML certifications (AWS, Azure, Google)
  • PMP or Agile
  • Lean Six Sigma
